So I just acquired this old PC from 1998, and I decided to reinstall its copy of Windows 98, seeing as it's slow as shit.
I pop the Windows 98 disc in, select "Boot From Disc", it loads for abit, and then that message pops up.
"CDR101: Not ready reading drive D : Abort, Retry, Fail? "
I've googled the problem and apparently quite alot people have encountered it, I couldn't find any solution, however.
I want to get this beast of a machine working again, help me, FacePunch!

Either the Windows 98 install disc is bad or the CD-ROM drive itself is bad.
