that WA has $700+ worth of upgrades in it. it came with 2 kimber slides, 1 short length and 1 full length, a colt slide, 2 mags and a real steel safariland dropleg holster

V3 based guns master race.
If AR's didn't have such a lame hopup compared to everything else, they'd be fine, but they don't. G36's have awesome hop-up, and my MP5K has the most legendary hopup on Earth.
Also, V2 shells don't seem to be as tough as V3's.
Besides looks (one of the biggest parts of airsoft) I see no reason to own anything with a normal V2 gearbox.
I can barely make the exception for my wonderful SR-25, which is matched in range with my MP5K and G36 despite shooting about 60 fps hotter than them.
Also, SVD is a massive exception, but it shoots about 50 fps less that the SR-25 and outranges it by at least 50 feet. Kind of depressing.

Plaster it with rails. When you've got a sufficiently rail-plastered RIS and an optic mount with at least 3 rails, proceed to weld/superglue rails to other parts. Like along the underside of the barrel.
Then give it a doubled waffle-mag with Magpuls.
From there, you can plaster it with as many accesories as you like.
Seriously though, kill yourself if you're seriously thinking of doing this.

Someone at my CQB place has that Spectre though, I always see it lying around not being used. It probably has some issues or something.

That's part of the real design. Also, apparently its KSC MAC-11 based with some improvements and it uses MAC-11 mags. (Not sure if its NS1 or NS2, but the website its on stocks the magazines.) Unfortunately its kind of really expensive.

The KWA Kriss is releasing soon.
They're giving two away (KRISS and ASGI) which means production models exist.
And Evike just added a 'COMING SOON' page for it with more pictures (Which are still prototype) and that "We don't have an estimate for how long it will take for them to get through customs" and "They'll be arriving in bulk in our warehouse shortly"
So I can see this happening soonish. Maybe my March latest? I hope so.

I'm also selling my TAR 21 among other things to fund it. I plan to get the S&T Tavor when it comes out. It's less than $200. I don't even need it to be great, it's probably going to SUCK compared to the ARES TAR 21. (I can already tell the asthetics are a worse finish than the ARES) but I hate that longer barrel and if I sell my Tavor $300 and buy one the style I really wanted I still have $200 profits to use on my Kriss or where ever else. (I have plenty of money saved anyway)
Doesn't look -awful- though. Considering I barely use my TAR 21 it's just so I don't have to use my M4 with my IDF loadout all the time. Because in order to be 'kosher' I'd have to take the RIS off and put the handguards back on which is a pain in the dick.

Just so you know, the S&T has a plastic gearbox to my knowledge, which is kind of concerning. Also, what you could probably do is just get a new front end/upper for your M4, so that all you're doing is pulling off the outer barrel or replacing the upper/outer. I had that going on in my G&G when I still had it, one pin and swapping the inner barrel and I had a totally different gun.

Like I said, I don't really care about the quality so much. It's mostly for impressions. It's either get the S&T or resort to cutting the barrel off my ARES TAR 21 in which case I might as well take a meat clever to my balls. If it craps out I just get it repaired, see if I can't 'reinforce' certain things by swapping parts. (I'm not sure if it's as retarded to work on as the ARES is) but otherwise it just needs to LOOK like a Tavor. From the reviews I'm reading overseas it's mostly all plastic, the rail assembly is kinda loose but it has some surprising performance for the cost.
The S&T is around $170-$180 in Japan so I'd imagine it'll be the same over here. Pocket change to me at this point. I suppose technically my M4 is 'kosher' if it weren't for the fact it's got a PEQ box. I've seen rail systems on IDF M4's before (not often, but I have) but I don't think I've seen them use a PEQ and that's where I keep my battery.
Which reminds me, I need to go bother Vityaz about his IDF helmets. Forgot about that.

Fair enough, my main concern is that its a plastic proprietary gearbox, which I think is different from ARES. This means it can't be replaced by anything else which means when the plastic eventually breaks its junk. I could be wrong though, so I suppose I'll just wait for more info on them, but I do know they're gonna retail for about the prices you mentioned.
Perhaps you can buy the S&T, take its outer/inner barrel and then sell the S&T with the long barrel as an upgrade. At least you know the ARES works when you need it to.

I'm not sure how easily that could be accomplished. The way these guns are designed are kind of different and I'm not sure if switching them out would be as easy as it seems. But as it is like a portion of the profits after getting the S&T from selling the ARES goes toward the Kriss.
Which means I'm selling it without the side rail and sling now so I can transfer them to the S&T, although maybe I should still sell the sling and get an OD one to fit the impression better. I'll need a new flash hider too.

The only concern I have is that the S&T TAR 21 doesn't have a front sling mount so two point slings won't work on it. I'd have to use a one point and it's possible, I've seen the IDF do it but ehh. I could also sling paracord through some of the vents on the side like I've seen the IDF too and use a two point anyway. I'm not sure how well the plastic will hold up like that.
