The frontmost dune line is a tad sharp imo.
But the red clouds own, if not a little strong

Is it like, a washing machine demon that runs on soap?
Because that's pretty cool. Imagine having that thing chasing you down

    Thanks.

I tried playing around with the colour schemes a little, and softened the clouds with brushes. What did you mean by sharp? Should I antialiase the line or do you mean something else?

Moreso at the front, there isn't really enough levelling off beside the very tip of the dune, and it looks like a pretty much vertical drop to the left
Oh, and the blue one looks very nice :)

Use the pencil tool for construction lines.

I'll concede you used the pencil tool. My advice, then, is to further refine the drawing.

I also advise just uploading the picture file rather than a screenshot. Seems a tad strange, no?

I tried .gif making for the first time and decided to animate this old pic

The frames (like the original pic) were made in paint and put together in Photoshop CS3.

Instead of shifting the bottom two lines, you should've redrawn them, it looks dodgy at best.

So I enjoy drawing pixely/by the pixel pieces because I lack the skill to draw large scale, but it's time that I force myself move up. If a character was fit into a box, what size do you think they should be? Think interactive adventure kinda thing.

Looking for suggestions, no wrong answers here.

Draw nice and big and start to apply regular drawing methods, Loomis and the like.

I drew a quick character, the page was 588*1024.

Some vikings for a game I'm making.

    (arms coming soon)

and a polar bear hat thing that probably won't make it in to the game because I don't want to draw a bunch of new sprites for it.
