Fuck Rety you should post more, my porn folder is growing stale.
AAing practice, 12 colors, No ref.
1 of 9 - Blackface
I started to draw a dinosaur on FlockDraw today. Mere seconds after taking this screenshot, it was erased. :(
2 of 9 - Teethface
I have no idea what I even.
It's supposed to be abe from abe's odysee, but oh my god it just ugh.
He's a bitch to draw, he's like yellow green purple and blue in places, plus lighting.
I'm so sorry abe, what have I done to you :(
The lighting on this image starts at the chest and feet, then works its way in both directions. The head is not hit by direct light, it is underglowed by radiant light coming from his chest
Abe is hueshifted in this image, start with a bit bright slightly saturated yellow then shift down to green while lowering the brightness and saturation, do this again while shifting to blue then purple in areas that are not backlighted by the other blue light. The areas in blue light are gonna be tricky to blend into the rest of the sprite so you're gonna need some more colours to make them feel like they're a part of it.
Overall this is a hard to draw image, I also suggest that you disregard anatomical proportions as he is an alien, don't try to make him look human when he isn't.
Smiley 'Dandy' Guy, a static inventory sprite.
Suit looks awesome!
He looks happy.
There's some banding created by the vest highlights, might wanna fix that.
(Most of the images in this post are scaled down.)
The first four drawings were for perspective training. I was learning how to turn 2D drawings into correct 3D drawings. The conversion from 2D to 3D could be done so at any angle, distance, depth, or scale. However, the process to do so was too long and tedious, so I stopped midway through the 3D portion. I'm only posting the 2D images.
All little head drawing I threw together.
The next two images are some sketch drawings I did when my internet went out for several weeks, and I was bored out of my mind. (Not having a life is a sad case)
(naked weapon fight :D)
(Lego ain't got nothing on my hands. Not very good with hands and feet, sorry) :P
In the last two images I took the two character sketches on the far right of the previous image and tried to color them in GIMP. They're very messy, but I tried.
Regarding the gimp images, you shouldn't use brushes at such a low setting, also the females face should be rounder and softer
tough post to follow up, but here's a WIP shot of a reflexology panel
Constructing a box in one-point perspective that's:
-1 x 1 x 1 feet
-1 foot to the left
-8 feet away
with a light source that's:
-4 feet to the left
-11 feet away
-2.5 feet off the ground
where your eye is:
-8 feet away from the box
-3 feet off the ground
Yes, all for a stupid box and shadow. I'll do one for two-point perspective as well.
Constructing a box, light source, and shadow in two-point perspective. The grid plane is rotated 10 degrees.
I haven't started the learning process on three-point perspective because I am still learning the full ins and outs of one-point and two-point perspective.
Damn Ausare, what do you do for a living? D:
your art is drawn so precisely, my attention span would go ''NOPE'' at like drawing the horizon line
he's missing the concept of balance
Heaven buttons activated, look at this glitterstick go. 4 colours.
I made a zombie or something.
So me and a friend played Fear 3, then my friend had a birthday so I drew this picture for him and then I remembered I hadn't posted here in forever so I did.
I still need to fix one of current gen Sonic's eyes
Then color n' shiz
And of course remove "WIP"
oops, classic sonic lost the concept of balance, he's defying gravity
how'd I miss that
And I noticed I suck at hand proportions
3 of 9 - Stacking
I was getting bored so I started listening to Deadmau5 and it boosted me too finished this one.
I looked up the user you mentioned and when I saw what you were talking about...
I honestly wasn't surprised.
Being a hardened deviantART user & Sonic fan, I see that on a daily basis...
Anyways, finally got off my ass and finished it.
Oh yeah and some little doodle I made earlier by abusing the line & curve tools...
Messed about in paint with my shitty tablet.
Its a ravener from warhammer 40k, I royally fucked up the head and facial areas but Ill get to those.
Fuck you large eyes being all large and such and not looking right at any point while making this.
I just recently learned this perspective drawing technique, and my attention span has worn thin a few times while practicing it. It's a very useful technique for various reasons. By the way, the horizon line is the first line you draw in this technique. (lol)
Doodled a zombie.
Some pixel stuff I made last night.
