Ok previously i chosed rong time to post... I need a lil help here, I got some kind of "glitch" in max: when I move any bone from .smd hands(on .max ones it doesnt happen)that has mid/tip bones attached to it, it just moves by itself not touching those other 2...
If yo dont understand meh, I'll post tomorrow soem screenz, k?

That's normal, because there is a smd exporter that is kinda of fucked up that doesn't allow moving bones... just move on to another thing or use the max files :P
You don't NEED to ask for permission as long as the original author says so. Whenever you have a sentence like "Do not redistribute without explicit permission of the author." in the readme file you MUST ask him before you re-release the content since it's basically the property of the author.

As I said, bone linkage error. The other finger bones are not linked to that one, so they rotate independently.
You're not in either of the keyframing modes for animation. Solution- turn on auto keyframe... or just move one segment at a time.
Are you trying to animate an imported hand rig from smd? That finger movement might not be normal but dont be surprised why other bones dont move as they should when you move one of them, you cant really animate after the thing was exported to smd and reimported.

Yeah, its hard to animate on smds but...its possible, my "secret experiment" have edited anim to gtfo vert , with this error here it would be surely impossible to do anything!
Btw, hands in vid are my rerig of the IIopns revolver but that doesnt matter. When I now import any smd hands, this error always happens, even on those that was used for the experiment(.smds cuz .max's are safe)...
Yes, small things can be edited, like those *fail* silencer anims I made for eXes M9 xD. Its weird, that error youre getting :\
So, let me see if i understood, if you import a smd that was working, over the other one that's not working, both are broke? That's, again, normal if the bones have the exact same name, or both meshes are "smdimport", that will cause a mix of skin modifier and "fuck up" the mesh itself, causing you to break the good smd :P

I have saved .max files of that edit that was previously smd ofc...it was saved BEFORE error happend, so its not affected(as much as any max files that was saved before bug appeared, if i save it now, its not working)
I even made few quick bones in max, it got same crap. Or I forgot how bones work?
Idk, i feel that whole max needs reinstalling...
I know it, made similar edit for KingFridays 5.7 half year ago...
Maybe if you upload that hands smd so that we can try if we have same problem... idk it could save you some reinstalling time.

Also you can try and link the bones correctly, rearranging the linkage like heydshaut said.

no that only happens in singleplayer , in multiplayer when i shoot it plays the firing sound once and then it goes silent for the rest of the clip :/

I have a problem. Homefront shg 870, acr, scar, m9 and sv45 are left handed in game but other weapons are right handed. How can i fix this?
