Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I found out about these guys a while ago. Definitely the only good punk band that's been around in a long time. It's a shame they aren't more popular.

And their lead guitarist looks like Muscles Glasses from Epic Meal Time.

I apologize if it isn't your cup of tea but regardless of wether you like it or not it still fits into the hardcore genre. If you're going to make a megathread for an entire huge genre you can't pick and choose what bands can be posted.

The way I see it, post hardcore falls under the Hardcore genre, why cant we just post it? Its a megathread, its good to have a mix of different kinds of hardcore.

BAD fucking BRAINS!!! I love them. Also minor threat, black flag, adolescents, 7 seconds, etc. I got a shirt for all of those but the last two. I also love devo, I consider their early albums punk, definitely not hardcore, more like 80's industrial synth-post-punk.

Except it's not a sub-genre. A sub-genre means that it still contains elements of the original genre. Death metal is a sub-genre. Psychedelic rock is a sub-genre. The post-hardcore genre is technically a sub genre, despite its differences. Why cant we just allow it to be posted in this thread just so people can post and discuss it without needing to make another thread, eh?

The music you're posting isn't even post hardcore, it doesn't contain elements of that actual sub genre genre. With time this will be corrected (as Metallica was once referred to as Power Metal, etc). Fugazi is post hardcore, your pop rock bullshit isn't.
