Film about an oil tycoon's greed for oil, leading to his eventual downfall. The acting....Christ.

If you haven't seen the movie, don't be fooled by the description implying that it's some dumb shit movie, it's just magnificent (especially the ending).

Whether people like it or not, the effort into making this an experience is staggering. The soundscapes... the visuals, they all provide for a timeless sense of influence throughout. The acting isn't the GREATEST, but it still makes you feel.

    Letters From Iwo Jima (2006)
A heck of a lot of people here will enjoy it. There are some brilliant sequences and some top notch acting throughout. It makes for a unique "cultured" view of Japan, although some may dislike it for it's biase (the Japanese mostly) it's one of the few worthy originals of the last decade.

Better than Being John Malkovich. Hilarious movie, with some top acting from the Cage.

My favourite movie, 16 years time the world just looks so tired, its pretty hopeless but presented brilliantly. The single shot sequences are so unique, the ambush scene is a perfect example of this.

Again, another one a lot of people here will enjoy. This is Korea's masterpiece, there is only a $3mil budget but it's so intricately made it's staggering. Every shot is placed for effect.
