Scarface (1983)
This movie should definately get a place somewhere in that list
Scarface (1983)
This movie should definately get a place somewhere in that list
American Pie (1999)
The basis of alot of comedies nowadays
Goodfellas
I don't remember this being posted...
Yes, that means it's first place with 55. :iia:
Well it's a great movie, deserves one of the top places...
By the way, another film by Quentin should be on the list:
Inglorious Basterds
Weird movie, but I really enjoyed it...
People forgetting "years" it was made.
Gladiator (2000)
Another great movie... Totally deserves to be on the list!
Con Air (1997)
so ironically bad it's good.
One per post.
The Lion King (1994)
Nothing to add here...
other 2 removed. and with that rule I bring along
Phantasm (1979)
This is really kind of an essential, isn't it?
I forgot this
End of days (1999)
That's a god awful movie. Just like all the others you've posted.
If you're going to choose Arnie, choose good Arnie, like Commando or Predator.
Total Recall (1990)
Who doesn't like this? The acting may not be top notch but the world is definitely creative.
Fine last one if you don't like this then I give up
Fear and loathing in las Vegas (1998)
Already posted. :smug:
Last Woman on Earth (1960)
It's in black and white, feels like a b-movie, and has a silly plot; despite that, the actors are great together, with anyone else the movie would be shit.
Edited: Pale Rider (1985)
The Conversation (1974)
Not many here would have seen it. But I guarantee... if you watch it, you'll get a great understanding of concept film making. This is in my top 5 movies of all time.
The title sounds incredibly boring, but I'll give it a watch at some point; it's been getting a lot of good rep around Facepunch and IMDB.
V for Vendetta (2006)
I think this should also be in the list...
I was holding back from posting it here because it isn't an easy movie.
Define "easy".
Yeah I'll start doing this once I update the thread later today
Star Trek: Exhilerating action, incredible acting, brought the franchise back from the dead
On first viewing you may miss all the neat touches that perfect the way it's made in conjunction to the story.
I don't really want to spoil it, but you'll see.
The sixth sense (1999)
Remake is not as good as the Original
Remake is hard to compare to the original. It was completely different in every way besides the general premise, you can barely even call it Dawn of the Dead.
Dog Day Afternoon
I think its Al Pacino's best movie
Shame it's on page 6.
