Buzz Bee Double Shot is Best Double Shot.
I wish darts were cheaper. I need to get around to making some stefans, but I don't have a good tutorial for them.
Whenever I get my Rem 870, I promise to shoot a Nerf dart out of it, film it and post it here for you to enjoy :)
Picked up two mavericks yesterday. Life is good.
I've found out the hard way that cocking mavericks repeatedly causes you to cause abrasions on your thumb's knuckle.
If I keep playing with them I will probably get blisters.
Hope the dart doesn't melt inside and fuck up the barrel.
SGNerf's already got a bollockload on the new vortex blasters. Still not too sure how the firing mech works though..
I want the Vigilon. HvZ Season is gonna start up again for me so it's more Nerf time. And they're finally selling Scouts on their own. WOOO!
Dat Nitron. The Praxis is nice too (Deus Ex references!) and the Vigilon would make a good sidearm.
Thing is, are the discs to darts as 5.56 is to 7.62, or do you guys think that there'll be a clear distinction in performance to them?
Praxis is a DIY chain here.
Really want to get the proton for previous stated reasons , it just looks so damn cool.
and has the best distances of the bunch
These were the shit when I was a kid. If you weren't raised in the 90's, then you don't know real NERF. Did anyone else besides me though play with capguns?
I'm probably gonna buy the whiteout mverick for the top break thingy.
Look how beast that looks
I just want to buy another Maverick and Recon.
What I really want to do is mod both of my mavericks to run off of CO2 cartridges (as well as the removable turret mod). My problem lies in creating a semi-auto valve for the trigger and getting a regulator to keep the pressure safe and consistent.
I just popped in here to look for good ideas on HvZ guns, and then I saw the Vortex ones. Holy fuck those things are cool. Might have to get a Praxis.
Just got a Raider CS-35, but its jamming like hell, anyone know how to fix it?
"The Raider requires some practice to use efficiently, you have to make sure the front priming handle is pulled back fully then pushed forward fully to chamber each dart properly before firing, this is even more important when you use it in slam fire mode.
Priming it only 80-90% either way before firing would tend to increase the chances of dart jams and darts getting chopped, and this is the most common user mistake.
Using worn out darts will also increase chances of jamming, so use good condition darts.
The other cause could be a faulty drum magazine, the internal tape spring might have been weakened or the parts fit not aligned, making the darts advance out too slowly or getting stuck halfway. Only way to solve that is to change the internal tape spring or try to smoothen out the parts fit."
So nobody has any opinions on my maverick? Should I keep the muzzle thing or remove it, or just ditch the silencer like thing?
Also. I have a Longshot and Longstrike I can't decide what to do with. any inspiration or suggestions? I did some stuff to the Longshot (mediocre paintjob a couple years ago and front gun integration mod) I just need to do something more like obviously take care of all the orange pieces.
The paintjob is a mix between matte black and glossy paint layers to create the tigerstripes.
You could paint them the same gray as the slide on the bottom of the gun near the front?
