That polished up really nicely man! Looks fantastic!

On a personal note, I've now setup a render farm in my house with all my computers, this is making life so much quicker and easier!

Testing some indirect illumination and physics in Blender. I started learning Blender only a week ago, and I don't know whether to love or hate it's user interface...

Any tips on how to improve this?

Don't use Blender Internal to render stills or animations.
    Use an external renderer.
    Yafaray, Vray, LuxRender or Cycles.

Loving this, able to render a 50 frame 600x600px turntable animation of an object in Vray in just about a minute. This is a publishing dream...

Rendered in Blender 2.57 with Cycles.
GPU Mode, 100 passes per frame, 180 frames, 3s per frame.

3 sec. per frame?!? What GPU do you have? The image below took 24 sec. (100 passes) with a GTX 285...

(Also: If I select many objects in Blender, but want to unselect one or two of them how do I do that?)

    GTX 460 @850MHz Core Clock
    Shift+RMB twice.
Shift+RMB once if it is the active object. (active object = light orange color)

In the second image, the floor tile textures look like they need some anisotropic filtering. Or was it meant to be DoF?
    Anyways, they look awesome!

Make your own studio and pretend you're as cool as Ajacks. That's what I do when I model. Though I don't usually model New York City - I model bins and fountains... badly.

Blender does not want to do what I want it to do right now :saddowns:

I hope someone here is able to help me?

I set up the necessary stuff to give my animation/image some depth of field with nodes and all that (just like in this simple tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYbVkJqz3BI), but somehow it's not working.

    Here's some screenshots (1.3 MB):

You don't need nodes for DOF with cycles.
Remove the nodes and enable Lens Radius.

The Z buffer doesn't work with Cycles at the moment.
