    I've been down since late december due to frying my CPU, I recently discovered the motherboard was the real problem and have replaced it. Even now, it's broken, after shelling 80 just to get going again I'm getting pretty stuck.

    Until these problems are fixed, I'm stuck with a old PC that can't do anything but browse the web. I'll recontinue the project when my computer stops killing itself. I can't be that bad?

    I am still working on this project, I've had alot of unfortunate setbacks, mainly not being able to access my source code

    [release]

    Garrysmod IDE Week 1
    I'm now releasing a development copy of the program every week, do not attempt to start a project with this version. Do not attempt to use all the promised features in this weeks version.

    It will be ready soon, stop bitching at me.
    [/release]

    I'd like to thank MackAttack for hosting the pre-releases, but GerbilMountain still maintain and sponsor GModIDE.

    Bugs:

    - issue_url bug, I'm still fixing it
    - problems on 64bit
    - SysButton breaking the toolbox
    - ScintillaNet not loading the syntax file correctly

    I know, weird glitch. I reuploaded a version that doesn't stop you from using it, but it crashes sometimes. Since I don't have 64bit, I'm unable to debug it.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.
    It appears that the 64x version just stays on the loading screen.

    I think the problem is something to do with LuaInterface not being a 64bit build. Not sure why this occurs, because 64bit has lot's of support for 32bit programs. Much more than 32bit for 64bit.

    I get a BadImageFormat exception when I run it, which is being caused by LuaInterface (Or attempting to use a 32 bit dll in a 64 bit environment)

    Have you tried setting the platform target of your project to x86? This -should- fix it by forcing it to run in a 32 bit environment. If you dont read this before I get home in a few hours, I'll try changing the header of the .exe with CorFlags and see if it runs.

    When I ran it, it said "Your running a 64bit operating system in 32bit mode, this is unsupported for the development version so bugs cannot be fixed while testing in this mode!" and then give me a error saying "The application failed to unpack the library Microsoft.mshtml, Version=7.0.3300.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a.dll, please reinstall the program!"

    I get it too.

    Did you definitely change it for both the debug and release configurations?

    *EDIT*

    Just launched it again, it works! The crash before was at the language select screen, I'm on the IDE now.

    Wait, so it's a one-time error that solves itself? That's even worse than before.

    Its odd, I get a ZoneAlarm popup asking if I want to allow it to access the internet when I launch it, that crash comes up when I click 'allow', it works fine if I just leave it and do nothing.

    Mine appears with the 64x message, then freezes for a while on language select (Due to a JavaScript script). However the program has started up seemingly fine.

    Not sure if its confined to 64 bit, but I get a bunch of errors when I do different things, for example when I try to add any 'new' file to the project, I get:

    Code:
    System.IO.FileNotFoundException: The Scintilla library could not be found. Please place the library in a searchable path such as the application or 'C:\Windows\system32' directory. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The specified module could not be found

    Anyway - while trying to create a derma file, it error me saying "The following derma control DSysButton cannot be added to the tool box!" - tried creating derma multiple time.
    Anyway - 2 quick yet important suggestions:
    - i noticed that if i open the program it creates an empty project automatically, then saves it. as a result, after opening and closing the software twice, yet doing nothing in it, i have 2 projects saved on my computer - pretty useless...
    -Add a css file to the pages showing information about glua functions
    Bugs:
    Theres a button called MISSING, showing all of the functions in glua, guess it shouldn't be called like that...

    ill write more later, if ill have time...

    Edited:

    when trying to use lua IDE:
    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    I used to unpack the DLL's because I couldn't load them from byte[]. Maybe the code for unpacking on request is still there. So if Microsoft.mshtml is not found, it will look there.

    I don't even use Microsoft.mshtml, I think they're is some code I can't find that checks the GLuaR issue list, the javascript has been updated, so it's only recently come to my attention.

    I believe that is what is causing the 'issue_url' error, try finding and puttring microsoft.mshtml in the application directory.

    The sys_button glitch is because I havn't finished adding everything into the program, so it only has chance to add DButton while loading, since the glitch is causing it to stop loading sys_button.

    I can see it's cracked, but this isn't a personal project, it's public. Sooner or later, somebody's going to notice and I can't really be in a position where somebody is suing me.

    Edited:

    Plus, I don't have time to rewrite the whole GUI for DotNetBar

    It takes time to finish things, especially an IDE and even more especially that I am the only person working on the project, so you'll have to get used to slow progress.
