I need to make a copy of my Steam folder for idlin' with my alt account, right?

These types of methods still work, right? Hearing a few reports that textmode idling no longer yields drops. That, and only the first client to connect on a single IP will obtain drops. Latter sounds like horseshit.

Got twelve drops on my fourth idle account this past night, six on my first, eight on my second, and five on my third.

So no, they're lying on both accounts.

Gonna make nine new F2P accounts, buy two summer keys on each to make them premium idlers, then give my main the 18 summer keys to open my 18 coolers and continue to let the nine alts idle on my laptop.

Uhmmm, you can't trade keys. I think they become tradeable on the 11th but that's when they expire.

So has this worked for you? I can't have 2 Steam accounts connected to friends/item server. My main always disconnects after I start the Sandboxxie steam.

The only explanation I can think of is that you accidentally log into the same account twice and kick yourself.

Oh that may be the problem. I click save password/remember me so it automatically logs into alfierulz (main account) and then click changer user to go to alfee94 (alt account). I'll try being logged off on both then logging on.

Maybe not the tf2 folder?

If it says that give it a minute, and if it says something along the lines of "Fetched new item schema" or similar, it's working. If it stays like that, you have to restart.

Any way around this error it gives me when I try to use my Paypal on two different accounts consecutively?

"Your purchase has not been completed.
The payment processor has reported an authorization failure. Please select a different payment method."

I was able to get two keys on two accounts, one with my Paypal the other with my card directly. But now if I try again with either on the next account trying to pay with Paypal gives me the error above and with my card directly it gives me another error. Do I have to wait a while or something?

Try restarting your Steam or router or log on to every account unsandboxed and pay consecutively. If that doesn't work it's an issue on PayPal's side.

I'm trying to do this, but when I launch TF2 from my main I get an error message that TF2 is unavailable, even though the sandboxed tf2 works fine. Anyone got an idea of what to do?

nvm I got it working. For those who might have the same problem, simply start up tf2 in your main BEFORE starting the sandbox. Once tf2 is loaded up, then start the sandboxed steam and connect.

It seems you can use the same paypal, creditcard or whatever else in 2 different accounts now. It'll deny in a third account. Not related to your cc/paypal limits or information. It may be a security implementation, but we can't gift a premium account of TF2 now. Robin said in a email they would be working on a solution for this.
