I will always be with you, Oc
i'm there, but theres no video yet
There's a black screen, but I'm just playing some music through the stream until then.
Sorry but I'm half asleep in bed at the moment :(
"Take all your overgrown infants away... Somewhere... And build them a home... A little place of their own... The Fletcher Memorial Home for incurable tyrants.... And kings..."
everyone get in heeere
thankyou mang... was an awesome stream. the best so far imo.
It was great
I had to change my pants at least five times
Akayz didnt have to because he was smart enough to take them off whenever he wanked during the stream
Delicate SOund of THunder next o yeah..
Lets do Gdansk next!
Or In The Flesh - Live. Mainly because I've never seen the whole thing.
I'd also show up if you did it later considering I'm like GMT +10
I fixed the huge looping skip scratch on my Wall vinyl, I AM GOD!!!
I'll be there on the next stream!
Most unlikely though, I'm spending a lot of weekends at my summerhouse...
Also I gave The Wall a good start-to-finish listen the other night
Liked it but honestly prefer some earlier albums
The Wall is pretty overrated. Still good but it's probably my least favourote after Momentary Lapse
I didn't even get caught in the concept in those, but I still enjoyed them a hell of a lot more
You probably did, but haven't realised it yet. :)

Yeah I heard about that bro, that's quite funny.
Wow that had to suck...
No one got hurt?
Sounds better than the album version.
The next stream will be Gdansk, then.
It'll be a pretty long stream, however. Two and a half hours, isn't it?
"just nod if you can hear me....."
The song is about how a "doctor" comes to help Pink, the main character of The Wall, to give him something to make him able to perform.
Hello... is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me... Is there anyone home?
It makes more sense if you look at the beginning of this portion of The Wall movie.
On a more universal level, the song is about how when people are in any kind of despair, they are easier to take advantage of. The Doctor in the song can represent governments, the media, corporations, etc., who offer "solutions" that people in despair don't necessarily need that might even hurt them. Yet the people accept them anyways because they numb themselves so as not to feel any more pain from their helplessness. And the entities who gain control over them keep them desensitized with the 'pinprick' of propaganda, products, lies, etc.
Sorry, if you're not interested in song/lyric analysis, I just wanted to give my interpretation. The music by itself is beautiful.
i bought a dark side of the moon poster today.
i was gonna buy this one,
but i didnt. i should have..
I have a wall with a few posters on it: one poster of the Ummagumma album cover that came witht he CD, The Wall theatrical poster that came with the DVD, a framed Led Zeppelin STH poster I got from an antique store for like ten bucks, and the little "PINK FLOYD THE DIVISION BELL" sticker from that CD
i got the stairway to heaven. tbh its not worth framing them since theyre probably gonna be made till the end of the world sometime next year.
Well shit this was dirt cheap at an antique store so
Sucks that 75% of Barnes and Noble's music posters are Abbey Road in some form or another. Good album but jeesh
