Also I've begun to understand the strategy of ulting everywhere right before you get into a fight, then ulting onto someone and it bringing them from full hp to half in 1 hit then pressing e and killing them instantly

If you want real skill play Shaco.

And by skill i mean learning how to be tactical with box placements and ults instead of just commanding it to explode near an enemy.

Everyone can play Shaco but its a different story to be good with him.
