Surely I'm not the only one underwhelmed after using Spotify for a while?

    $0.99 per track? Uggh.

Google Music officially came to be today. Music store and everything is up.
And it's still free, goddamn, Google.

I have 11 songs that didn't upload for whatever reason, how can I find what these songs are, and get them uploaded?

If you fire up the Music Manager, it should say "x songs were not able to be uploaded", or something like that, with a link, which will open a window with a log describing why each song failed to upload

    Edited:

I think you need a credit card with a US billing address registered first, before you can even grab the free songs

Why is it uploading the songs I dont want to upload and why is it so slow.
There is no cancel button, it just re-uploads them when I re-launch the program after it closes when i press cancel.
    Help.

Let it run and finish, it'll take around ~4 days. After that don't disturb your music again (changing local meta data, for example), just edit the cloud copy. If it's reuploading when you cancel, that's probably why, or that you aren't letting complete copies get up into the cloud.

One problem I've noticed is that it flubs the uploads occasionally. The file will play fine on my computer, but it'll be screwed up or cut out before the end of the song coming from the cloud.

It's not in beta anymore, so there's no need for an invite, just login on the site and you're in

Left Apple brused and battered by making better phones over iPhones. Now Google's going for their iTunes.

I have a shit ton of duplicate songs on Google Music somehow, probably at the fault of myself for not keeping track of what I put on there before I reformatted (hard to explain). Is there any automated way of deleting duplicate songs?

I'm using this, as my Galaxy Nexus' paltry 16GB can't fit my library...

The only problem is that it eats up my 1GB data plan amazingly fast. :/ A ten-minute drive in my car yields approximately 100mb -- and this is on "low quality mode".

It also doesn't switch from Wifi to Mobile Data on the fly. When I'm in my driveway, my phone still detect my Wifi network.. and I start streaming music to it... pull down the road and the music stops because the loss of the Wifi signal... it doesn't switch over to mobile data. :/

I uploaded a playlist from itunes onto Google Music then I added more songs that were already on my itunes to that playlist. But the new songs won't upload to the Google Music playlist. Does anyone know how to get those songs to upload?

Music used to play the tracks on an album one by one in order but lately it's been shuffling it and going to random tracks after it plays a song, sometimes the same song I just listened to. How can I change that back?
