Seeing those designs makes me want a series about the old Team Avatar as adults.

Person cosplaying as Korra looks like a dude.
tits
Book 2 feels kind of like DBZ, one villain is gone, another one pops up. I kind of liked having only one major villain.
Unless a spirit that looks like Amon appears and starts to kick ass.
I would love if Amon would remain mysterious till the end of the entire series. That was also what i expected when watching Book 1
Originally it was only supposed to go for one season. That is why it was wrapped up with literally no loose ends.
Yeah i knew that, though it would be very interesting if they would keep it secret for so long so people can speculate about who it is and what he's motives are. Ah well, they received the greenlight for 30-40 more episodes so i hope they make a nice long story.
Can the spirits of non-benders, normal benders(who aren't avatars, etc.) still go to the spirit world when they die?
I would assume so, it would make it balanced.
snip too old
I just thought of something; did anyone else have a problem with the desert/lost Appa episodes in the old series? Aang turned into such a childish dick for a while, throwing a bit of a tantrum, and it was completely out of character. I mean, I get that losing his lifelong bison buddy is hard on him, but given the way he normally acts it was way too immature. Apart from The Great Divide, it's the only part of the whole series I'm willing to skip when I watch the show.
I agree, I think the way he was with Toph was completely unnecessary.
Tales of Ba Sing Se was cool though.
Man that Iroh part. Got me into tears.
if this is true then
You can't bend in the spirit world, right? so if you look at it, in a way, amon got what he wanted when he died
I find it odd that such a great part and kind of an important tidbit about his character (and relationship with Zuko) is in an episode that can otherwise be overlooked among the rest of the story. Then again, I'm not sure where else they could put it.
They mention it plenty of times throughout the series.
I thought that was more on the character building side of things.
Bolin should be the one who joins the police force
He's already an earthbender, and he and Lin could have their own corny B grade cop show
Not sure if really spoilery, but Zuko is still alive

Yea, around a page ago someone kindly posted a Youtube video of the animatics
In the desert everyone was pretty dehydrated and being in that state can make you act not like yourself. While in the city though his childish dickishness could'a been handled better.
Besides, how can you complain that he's being immature? He's like, twelve, at the time!
Have you met an actual twelve-year-old, or perhaps once were one yourself? They're immature. Being Kung Fu Action Jesus doesn't mean you can't be an immature brat at times.
Deadpool for Pro-bender.
I'm complaining because up to that point Aang had been the compassionate wise twelve year old, and nothing he had done previously had lead me to think that he'd turn into a bit of a brat for 3 episodes. He was pretty rude to everyone in the group, claiming no one ever cared about Appa, etc. I get that Aang's twelve, but it was way, way too sudden a change. He was instantly on everyone's ass complaining about how terrible they all were.
It's just puberty
He'd just lost his best friend. Judging from how he reacted when he saw Gyatso dead Aang doesn't take loss well.
So from the reading, Asami is 18 so she could get date Iroh
Apparently not.
I would much rather prefer him and Lin stopping that car of bad guys and say "Looks like you got car trouble." instead of Mako, suits Bolin more and he has become a failure of a comic relief last season.
Are you like, dissapointed from a cartoon characters behaviour? really?
Aang is pretty much Anakin when it comes to loss.
it would be sad that bolin sacrifices himself to save both the spirit world and the normal world.
Also if you say bolin and lin very fast you get bolin-n-lin
No, i'm disappointed at how the writers handled it.
what
Did that happen in the preview? I haven't watched it.
Realistically? This is an example of good writing, not otherwise, showing strong emotions is part of being human and to emphasize how upset aang was for losing his friend. You expect the writers to make him calm and nice to everyone after a loss of a close one? that would be terrible writing.
You might as well be "disappointed" by how zuko changed his behaviour from an evil dick to a good guy after choosing sides.
