It was the start of the new series apparently. New episode is either next week or the week after depending on if they did a two episode premier or not.

Just finished watching the first two episodes. I really like the game of pro-bending and they really put a lot of thought into it.

I liked how instead of just telling us the pro-bending rules they had Korra accidentally breaking them, because she didn't know them either.

Nickelodeon said that if the KorraNation.com page received over one hundred thousand likes, shares, and tweets on Facebook and Twitter they would release the first two episodes early online, on March 24th. The series' official premiere on Nick was on April 14th, so the premiere episodes were shown again.
The new episode is next week.

Just watched the first episode, it makes sense how technology has grown, but I'm not a fan. Cars, batteries, cameras, too much in my mind.

I'd honestly like an episode dedicated to pro bending. It's more exciting than any real life sport to me.

I'd be OK with same-sex relationships being put in the show, but then again, LoK is on Nickelodeon which is an American business, so, not going to happen for atleast 20 more years when most of the conservatives died out.

It would be good if it wasn't a cartoon with one set outcome. The whole point in sports is that it is unscripted and down to skill not writing so it kinda takes the excitement out of it.

Who were the benders in the old series' intro? I can never tell for some reason.

From memory it was Azura, Aang, Katara's waterbending master and some random rockbender.

I remember recognizing Aang, and I assumed Katara's waterbending teacher as well. I thought the firebender was supposed to be Zuko, but I guess it could be Azula too.

It is. In the new intro it's Avatars Kyoshi, Roku, Aang, and Korra.

In the Last Airbender/Legend of Aang it's Master Pakku, Sud (Roku's earthbending teacher, also Toph's original design before she became a girl), Azula and an unnamed air nomad. It also has Roku doing all 4 types of bending.

reminds me of the some lore in Dragon Age 2. (long sotry short) guy ate best sliver of apple ever, regrets it because he spent like all his money on it and everything else depresses him, because they fail to live up to this apple.
I hope Korra take her adventure outside of republic city a couple of times, maybe to meet the turtle lion and learn bender bending.
