you have 10 minutes to live.
i've had a sharp pain near my left lung for the last week or two whenever i cough or stretch
i had a cold a week or two ago and still have a bit of a cough/stuffy lungs from it. could that be the cause of the pain, is there anything i can do to ease the pain, and should i see a doctor?
There's been a pain right below my left kneecap for 4 months. At first it didn't hurt and I shook it off and continued to play sports and lift. But lately its been hurting bad, especially after I workout and run for 2 hours. Any idea on what it might be?
I just got back from the Emergency Room...
I went because I've had a mid to high grade fever for over a week and a half now, and it hasn't broken. It turns out the reason is because I had the flu initially, which lasted about a week. Then my body fought it off and began to recover, but right as it began to do so, my weakened immune system failed to fight off the incoming pneumonia that I now have. So yeah now I have pneumonia. I had to get IV fluid and antibiotics and was in the hospital for about two hours
So lately I've been feeling tiredness and fatigue. My hands and feet are cold.. I think it's Iron deficiency anemia, I've been through it before.
you should probably go see a doctor then, to confirm
Great tip, if the fever is extreme and lasting more than 3 days, and not getting better in a significant amount of time (can't break it or appease it), go to your GP, i don't care if your health insurance sucks, the bill will be much shorter than the alternative in a week. Same goes for coughing, if over the counter dextromethrophan cough meds aren't doing anything, after a few days, go to your doctor, especially if you're out of breath.
Is Oxycocet supposed to make me temporarily go blind for 5 minutes?
I had to take it as pain reliever for a dental surgery.
I have a raised horizontal ridge on my left thumbnail. I stubbed it kinda badly a few weeks ago but I only noticed this bump today.
Do I have anemia or something? Will it grow out eventually?
I've had a sore eye for about 5 days now. Anything I can do to stop the irritation?
So i have a cold at the moment.
Water, Milk, and tea all taste really bad and leave a nasty aftertaste. Is there anything i can do to stop this since i need to drink, but i dont want to due to the taste.
Would Gatorade be a replacement for water?
I don't know why I'm posting this here but here goes:
So for the last few days I've been having some severe pain around my waist. By severe, I mean so bad that I can bend or walk. At first I thought it was just a cramp or something and tried to bear it. Then I started to have a fever. Eventually, I went to the clinic. They performed the usual tests, including a urine test to see if I had a problem with my kidneys. Everything turned out normal, even my weight (which is surprising to me because I'd always been overweight as a kid) and the doctor there chalked it off to muscle strain. I thought I was fine after that, since for the rest of the day the pain was fairly mild and seemed to be going away for good.
Then, today happened. Today it hurts even worse. Much worse. I have no idea what it could be, but I don't think it's just muscle pain. My entire lower torso feels like it was kicked repeatedly, and getting up from the bed took about 20 minutes to do because of how slowly I had to move. I have no idea what to do, because mild painkillers like Ibuprofen don't help very much at all. What could it be and what the hell can I do?
uhm... i'd probably go see a doctor at this point
worth a shot!
Now I've been sleeping all day
Anyone here tried earspray? My right ear has been bugging me, getting clogged and so on, so I decided to buy some and try it in my ear. Problem now is that my ear is even more clogged and there's oil constantly dripping out.
It says I have to spray 1 time a day for 3 days, so I'll see what happens the next days.
olive oil's good for the ears! helps to break down wax and clear it out. application can be a little messy though
mm, delicious pharmaceuticals
but good! glad your ears are working
My appointment with the doctor isn't before monday.
Oh, and eat enough iron guys. Anemia is shit.
I just had my teeth cleaned clinicly.. The bottom part didn't bother me at all. In fact i joked about it not hurting at all. That's when she went berserk on the top part and the foreteeth. She could have told me that that is the most sensitive part of the mouth.
Now i've been spitting blood for about 1 hour. Good life!
And no i don't have horrible teeth but it's a preventive measurement.
So i guess i came here for advice on how to stop the ouchy in my mouthy.
Swill warm salt water around in your mouth (don't swallow it though)
Actually, that will probably really hurt, but it will make it better in the long run. Probably.
Mix it with bengay while at it.
So almost a week ago I got a pretty big headache and a small ache in my throat, runny nose etc. I thought it was just a typical sore throat thing or whatever but then the pain started moving slowly to my tongue and now almost a week later I feel immense pain when I swallow saliva, food or liquids. Tea doesn't do a lot of good but kinda eases it a bit while I am drinking the tea. So I get a lot of pain the bottom of my tongue and in the upper part of my throat but the headache is completely gone and the runny nose is partly still there but nothing illness type of thing.
Anyone know what this is? I've never had a sore throat like this so I am wondering if its an infection or whut?
So I went to doctor today and turns out its only a bad case of something I don't know the English word, just the basic sore throat thing and then some tiny infection. I should stop self diagnosing my self.
Well, apparently I don't have iron deficiency anemia. Though my doc found something in my blood test.. Might be hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism. Symptoms are similar, explains my depression and lack of energy. My doc noticed it three years ago, but the values were so low that there was no need to worry. Now, three years later and 30cm taller, it's quite the difference.
I went to bed with a terrible headache yesterday, and now I woke up and I can't keep my balance en feel dizzy all the time.
What do I do?
Drink water till you squirt from one end or the other, lay down in a cold room. Take aspirin if needed. Consult with doctor if symptoms persist.
Have severe strep throat, both viral and bacterial somehow.
I threw up over 12 hours ago and the pain is so intense that, even with the narcotic painkiller I was prescribed, it still hurts to swallow anything.
Also the pus is so bad that I was choking and struggling to breathe earlier.
I put bengay on my balls, help
My Trapezius muscle,
hurts, like stabbing pains, when I breathe sometimes, mostly then I'm lying down, it's annoying as fuck
(Pretty much right where the line is pointing)
My lower back hurts, suggestions?
My orthodontist wants to remove 4 teeth to make room for my teeth to align. I just got the braces in and I'm supposed to get the teeth removed within 8-10 weeks but now I'm reading about how it would ruin your face and cause sleeping problems/jaw problems in the future but I'm not sure if they could be viable sources (If anything, testimonials). Any advice for whether or not I should go through with it?
My leg is asleep
Is that fatal
