Why not? It's pissing annoying, And don't say it's "realistic" because in real life i can't carry a M79, M60, M16, AK-47, and an RPG at the same time.
So if we don't make all mechanics realistic, we can't have any?

It's not overly simplistic, Every single FPS game on the planet lets you swap weapons without holstering, Even STALKER and Insurgency do. Jesus.
I'm actually grateful for holstering because my mouse scroll wheel has a tendency to scroll once on its own causing me to switch weapons and often in the middle of shooting.
Can you modify your code, so we can see 3rd person anim on a server ?

Actually, I can't see my friend's anims and he can't see mines (but if I look at myself with a camera I can see my anims).

This happened to me as well. The model seems to be setting textures from other places within the v_model on to the G36C. Not sure whether it's a problem with the .vmt, or the lua for the weapon itself.
Update: I have installed the first version of the sweps, then I copied the autorun, M24, R870, M3S90, and other fixed lua from the 1.1a. This has resulted in the G36's glitchy mirror textures being "toned down", but not completely gone. Meaning the error is either with something in the autorun, or the NPC version is affecting the normal one. Still looking into it.
Hey Siminov, I keep hearing from a bunch of people that the sounds were fixed for all the guns in a Multiplayer Server, but I can't find anywhere that is says that. The reason I haven't been using these on my server is solely because the sounds don't cooperate. Have they been fixed? Is a fix coming?
That g36c glitch is fucking odd.
I managed to fix it by opening the vtf and saving it under a different image format.

Weird, I mean the error with the G36 is not mine, it's from FAS.
It is some type of texture error that happens sporadically for me, since I really don't know how to edit textures, there is nothing I can do.
Actually, it might be the normal map fucking up, Haven't checked.
EmitSound on self.Owner in an if SERVER then block.
It's not hard to start a listen server and test with Lua to see if it works, you know.

Anyone encountered problems with the gun sounds in multiplayer? They tend to not make any sound after alittle while. A temporary fix is you switch to iron sights and back, then you are able to hear the sounds again.
I havent had anything like that, but all around the gun sounds dont work well in Multiplayer. If you had read above, you'd have seen that.
Al the textures and materials shells etc are working perfect, but al my gunsounds wont work does anyone know how to fix?
I made a resource file generator, and made a resource file for FAS.
Not sure if this resource file works, I have no way to test it.

This addon seems great! But when I install it;
I can only use the following:
- 2 Shotungs
- 2 Melee
- Grenades / Launcher
The other weapons like the M4 show up on the ground, but when picked up it's greyed out, and you can't get to it in the menu.
Any ideas?

I don't see anything regarding my issues.
You stated that the weapon pack may not show up at all, well it does, and that's not the issue.
The Entity drops on the ground, you pick it up. You just can't use it, or select it, it's greyed out.
You need ammunition in order to select it. Just go to the Entities tab and spawn the Midnight pack entity or whatever it's called to acquire all different types of ammunition.

To Switch weapons, you must first holster the weapon, then you are able to switch to another weapon.
To use weapons, you must spawn the corresponding ammo for the selected weapon, or it will not select.
Make sure to reload a weapon before you fire it.
Left Click= Fire
Right Click= Ironsights
E + Right Click= Change Firemode OR Deploy / Undeploy
E + Left Click= Holster
E + Left Click + Right Click = Ak 47 Melee
R key = rrerr

Also, sometimes the mirror thing is gone, but the .vtf for the hands is slapped onto those parts of the gun.

Hey, was just wondering if I could Firearms: Source in my megapack, as I just started up a new server with some my buddies.
Technically it would be a re-upload, so I'm just on here asking. I currently don't have it in my megapack, so users do have to go the extra mile to download a separate file.
Can't wait for Firearms Source 2!
