EDIT: So I took all the files and extracted them to the texturepacks folder, what now?

Put the .zip in the texture packs folder, then download and run this.

The .zip is the compressed file you downloaded from the OP

It worked! It appears that I moved the files separately to the texturepacks folder instead of all of them zipped together. Silly me.

Could be something to do with this. Run the patcher again and make sure it's correctly set.

It includes the same HD patcher files as MC patcher uses anyway AFAIK, so it doesn't matter.
