Car in question : 99 Audi A6 Quattro Avant AWD
I Need help looking for new Brake rotor's drilled and slotted. And some good pads. Rotor's Pad's Would that be good for front and back? Or Am I just a bit un leaniant of spending close to 700$ on pad's and rotor's?
Also I plan on putting some good looking 18" Hartman HRS4-DTM-GS on so the size would not be any issue. 285$ Each.... That shall wait!

Just starting this topic because my rotor's are becoming bent? were they grab and let lose and grab again variating on the speed.
And I also just want newer and better pad's for this thing.
Edited: Also the cord coming out of the brake pad's in the pic are to tell the computer to warn me about the pads are warn out.
Also suspension noise.... I shall see tomarrow about that. I have to jack it up and tinker around with it. It's only the front left. So.... idk.

Have fun with the a6... my friend has one of those cars and we've come to nickname it "failboat" because everything breaks. Within 2 months of having it he lost 2nd gear in the transmission and was quoted well over $2k everywhere to have it fixed, so he just skips from 1st to 3rd when he drives.
As for the brakes, don't waste your cash on the cross drilled/slotted rotors, it honestly makes very little difference in the capability and performance of your brakes UNLESS you're using them in extreme situations (track/drag cars, or supercars). Cross drilled rotors are also harder to get re-ground, since most shops fear damaging their equipment, so you'll have to buy new ones sooner than later. Not to mention that first link you provided is a big brake kit, they're larger than stock rotors and chances are you don't need them. Just buy OEM replacement rotors, and buy some nice pads. The pads you linked are overkill for the application, but you'll probably enjoy how they feel. Sticky pads, a little hard to warm up but good once you push on them a few times.

Alright thank's, Only reason I wanted the bigger rotor's was due to I was getting bigger rim's and did not want small ass looking rotor's behind it.
So any Suggestions on pad's? I'm clueless on witch one's to get I was thinking Red stuff because I was going to take it to the strip and get a general time on it.
I guess I need a mild Break pad? I don't care if it has the sensor wires or not.
And situation on the Suspension noise. I think 99% it's a Sawybar Link. :>

Go to your local Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts (America). Tell them your car, your engine (if diff versions), and 2wd/4wd. They will tell you what parts you can get. Go with duralast. Id suggest Autozone because they have better parts. Same with pads.Car in question : 99 Audi A6 Quattro Avant AWD

Cost you about 200 Dollars before tax and you will save about 200 dollars doing it yourself rather than taking it to a shop for front and rear rotors and pads.

Installed new rotor's that you suggested. Work's like a charm.
Pad's... Different fell to them and don't have mutch stopping power thin my older pad's.
But pad's are pad's I guess.

less stopping power = brakes last longer. as long as the thing stops, it's good to go. better than getting some fuckoff carbon pads and turning your rotors into dust and having to replace them

But not so good if someone cuts him off and he can't stop in time (although i guess it would be covered, it's still undesired)

I'm use to being able to stop on a dime now it's about a half dollar. I dislike. Ohh well. Anything to make shit last I guess.
