Anybody as excited about this game as I am?

I thought we could use a thread about this, but I don't have much info on the game yet. Personally, I've spent countless hours in Forza 3.

IIRC the game should be out in a month, and that's as much that I know

I preordered it as soon as I heard about the limited edition. Really looking forward to it.

I can't afford any real cars, so may as well enjoy some virtual ones.

Disappointed that they still didn't put in nighttime driving, but everything else mostly makes up for it.

I hope you can turn off the steering aid when you use a wheel. That's the only thing about the driving in Forza Motorsport that didn't appeal to me.

Even if they don't, I'll still be buying.

Are there actually any good xbox wheels that dont cost a fuckton? I know Microsoft dont allow any peripheral they dont approve of (cant make money off)

Because EA holds the rights to feature Porsche in games, again. Instead, we get RUF, which is basically what Saleen is to Ford. Porsches that go faster with slightly different body panels, pretty much.

I think that Turn 10 now holds the rights to use Ferrari in Xbox games, so EA can't use it.

Mad Catz is the cheapest option unfortunately; the next step up is the mediocre Microsoft wheel which is like $150. Fanatec wheels are like $200+

Actually, there is a new wheel just for Forza 4, I don't know what its name is, but it has a clutch and a 6-speed. There are three, one for around $60, one for around $400+, and one in between.
