Yes, basically when shifting gears (especially down), the change from a lower to higher RPM makes it difficult for the fuel pump to keep up, so some residue fuel gets thrown into the exhaust system. It's then ignited in the exhaust manifold and fire is spit out of the pipe.

Once this comes out, we need to make a Facepunch car club.

Also, thanks for the info. Backfires are cool, and I'm kinda pleasantly surprised they put details like that in the game.

I can't wait to get this game. I'm almost more hyped for this than the BF3 Beta.

I have a feeling that's kind of bad for the engine, looks awesome though.

Not really, it's fuel burning in the exhaust. It can be bad for your exhaust though, if it's not meant to handle it.

It can clog up your cat if it's not a metal cat. My car does it all day and i recently had to replace my cat.. but then again it was the first cat from 1988.

The guy driving is just mashing down the throttle and nearly spinning out every time he turns.

Nah, you engine is fine. It's more common in racecars and high performance street vehicles which are specifically designed for harsher conditions. It's why you don't have Accords farting all over the place when you are stopping at a light.

The exhaust is also designed differently on most of these cars which permits the burning of fuel without damaging the system.

A collegue gave me the Xbox steering wheel for free yesterday, and I had a go with it.

I turned from a pro-hardcore-super-forza-driver to a fucking retarded student driver in 0,4 seconds. I can't drive for shit with the wheel

Muscle cars are meant to be high in the back, low in the front.

And have a parachute on the back.

I think they're supposed to p high all around, but everyone has their own opinion and I respect that, if somebody likes that car above, cool, I just don't think it looks that cool

The low look is part of the camera angle and the design of the the body which makes the wheels look small, but the Javelin does rides lower than most other muscle cars.

It's lower than most muscle cars. The wheels in the Javelin sit recessed in the wheel arches, so when the camera is high, it makes it look extremely lowered.

The s15 looks far better without a spoiler. Although a small ducktail spoiler would look good as well. Any pictures of the EK9?
