    I was just going to gather links to the worshop submissions, saying "here, in case you didn't notice, here's a bunch of fixes the community has made for their own items."

    Since I feel that stuff like the new Soda Popper and the Pyro skin for the Reserve Shooter are going to go completely unnoticed.
    Label everything so whoever reads it doesn't necessarily have to click on the links in such a way that one can glean everything about the model from a glance.

    Like that. From what I've gathered, Valve is an incredibly informal company, with the TF2 Team even moreso than the rest (based on Laro's story of trying to talk to a valve employee about needing custom animations and just getting back "nah man just make it look fukkin cooooool"). Making it as simple as possible to read and not making it look like a brick of text is what will get the stuff ingame.

    You think if I went and found all the community fixes and updated community items on the workshop and sent them in an email to Valve all nice and organized, if it would be worth the time?

    I really fail to see why Valve can't just implement these. I'm assuming they've already been mailed to them by the creators, right? I mean it would literally be so simple.

    Considering how many Modelers post here in the emporiums, and have items that actually got in-game why doesn't somebody make a Facepunch pin or an all class Facepunch Trophy melee item, and submit it for valve to give to contributors that got items in-game, that work mainly here in the emporium?

    it's a clever fix that doesn't really change the item but fixes a major problem with the item

    Knowing Bethesda, he'll be done soon whether he wants to be or not. Just wait until he opens a door too fast and accidentally talks to the wrong person while holding the wrong equipped item

    The reserve shooter skin is absolutely not needed. This has been discussed and the pyro has recieved enough olive-colored items for the reserve shooter to be a pyro weapon.

    But other than that, please do it. I don't mind some added detail on the #1 fan pack, and the game could definetly use some paint fixes.

    Pyro has one other olive colored weapon, and that also looks out of place on Pyro.

    The reserve shooter looks silly on Pyro. It's not just the color that's the problem, the RS also has an army logo on it and it has some model issues with Pyro.

    I'll soon release the sleeper agent.

    Also I wanted to share a little tips to improve the lighting on a model. You can cast some static light on your texture to lit the part that are most likely to be lit. Left is without and right with. The center texture is the lighting map which is directly applied on the diffuse.

    Since when did we start organizing who gets what weapons based on the colors that are on it

    "herp derp spy has lots of black items so no moar black weapons for him give him an axe made of gold lol"

    Is there any way for no losing the edge-split modifier and all the sharp-marked edges in Blender once you have exported it if you want to modify something, importing it again?

    I think there's an option when importing/exporting to enable smooth group.

    But im not using smoothing groups, only the edge-split thing and choosen sharp edges. Would it work? Also, do you know where is that option?

    It should be in the in the windows that appears at the center of the screens when you import something.

    How do you get the AO so crisp?
    What do you mean, this is not an AO, it's a pre-rendered lighting.

    Idea: Replace the gib files with DOSH! For a Killing Floor sort-of game experience.

    Wads of cash for everyone! Or better yet everyone gets nation-specific money.

    Could be used for a special KF promo: On Kill, enemy is gibbed into lodsemoney.
