A different color scheme could probably help as well
Agreed, and the stickybomb launcher doesnt really look all that different...
The projectiles are really clever, though. I like those a lot. :D
Since Altimor is a scrub and won't model this (he told me he was going to a week ago fff):
Anyone feel like trying it instead??
Made that crappy sketch for altimor but I can make something more decent if needed (It's supposed to be a Chopper-looking minigun.)
You know with the release of the workshop we can see the Styles that pie Tony mentioned months ago If he asks all the people to resubmit them to the workshop. Also we could vote them up and finally valve would add them.
Hey, I've got a question: Is it possible to force a w/c model into using two vmts (IE for teamcolors) WITHOUT breaking the collision on the model? Everytime I've seen such an edited model, the collision is broken.
Yeah, just don't generate a new .phy, and make sure your model is rotated to line up perfectly with the old .phy
Hey, making some hat for pyro:
Alert, our pyro is being captured!
(Sorry for bad quality, i'm making a texture and stuff tomorrow)
These are my glasses.
I now want to make a "Pirate scallywag mode" That makes everything in Pirate.
Seems I'm not the only that volunteered to texture it.
Just ideas for the one(s) that get to texture it, maybe add an analog clock on the small screen.
Put some numbers on the smal round clock, add edge highlighting to the body of the watch?
Maybe go for a more metal/steel look, (Paint it grey/silver or go for Red and Blu with grey/silver wear and tear like the sentry)
And just go for simple brown leather feel for the wristband.
You can go quite far by looking at current textures or looking at what the pro's here in the Emporium do.
I agree with you though, either numbers or just notches for the analog clock, a more leathery/darker wristband would look much better, and the face of the watch is too bland and could use either a darker look and/or some texture to it.
So do bump maps not show up in the model viewer or is this a problem that only I'm having?
Oh nice! Thank you.
Is it possible to make a shotgun that puts a backpack on the soldier, that stays on even when not equipped?
I would like to see a black metal equalizer, and a reserve shooter skin the matches the direct hit in color scheme and puts a backpack similar the battalion's backup recolored to fit the direct hit color scheme on it as well. and maybe a tan grenader's soft cap.
I'm going to shoot myself, i can't get my material to not be pitch fucking black.
Can any modeling gurus weigh in on what might be causing the problem? I'm fairly certain it's NOT my VMT doing it.
The bells aren't right.
