    Ok, so i replace a the foster, for example, that has the entire skeleton. I modify the foster qc file. But the granades will be still there. How can i make them disappear when you equip the foster (my model), so it doesnīt collide?
    no you need to replace the stockbrokers scarf (fosters replaces the head). load up one of the decompiled pyro's models, stick your nades where they go, skin them to "prp_cannister1", "prp_cannister2", and "prp_cannister3" bones respectively, and you should be good to go - load up itemtest, load pyro, load stockbrokers.

    Late response, but oh man - that was the second skin (and second mod) that I ever made for TF2. Dang, the memories.

    Maybe its not such a good idea to paint the bonk mask, guess i'll desaturate it, but it just doesn't feel good anyway, need to make it shine a little less, I improved the topology a bit so it shades better.

    Alright, since someone asked for it to be colored, I will color it tommorow, when I get to a comp that runs GIMP.

    Before that, here are the colors I'm planning to use:

    import the pyro model, remove everything but the bones you need (the three i listed), skin your models to those bones, export as smd.

    *leave the bones exactly where they are otherwise - before you skin, move your models to where they should be.

    no, you make your own qc file, when you specify a model location use the stockbrokers scarf name and location - there may be a tutorial floating around that can show you what to do

    I don't know what you're talking about. I always modify the .qc of a similar item that's already in-game. It's quicker and there's less room for error.

    erm... well. yeah you can copy existing qc scripts but.. its.. not hard.. ? i mean most qc files have very similar structures, and you don't need to do advanced scripting just to get it to a viewable state. i think atleast. i never claim to be an expert i mean i guess he can just reuse the stockbrokers qc but hes probably going to have to alter some things in it regardless. to each his own though

    it would be awesome if you were able to leave them in the model, add them as body groups, and, if valve accepts it (they better its very well made) can have 3 diff styles :3

    well you have to tweak the texture locations (unless of course your using same location), and there are other things too. like i said to each his own. i find it easier to do it myself.

    Yeah you could use layers you know... idk what's up with making it so flashy(ponies? ), I did make the #1 fan set quite flashy already since the scout character is quite immature and on purpose making the pistol look kinda toy-ish but I just think painting the mask completely breaks the palette with the character.

    So I am not making bonk boy paintable, I'll leave that up to Valve if they really feel like doing so.
