The name and the model just screams for "crits against spies". And that's bad.

Well, I mean, there have been a few people, including myself, who've released their stuff as mods, but the OP still hasn't been updated.
I'm not expecting it to be made.

A big thank you to Jacen for helping me fully understand that qc file stuff and the things I messed up, all that's left now is the texture.

I figured my last model looked like a piece of shit so I remade it as a FaN/Soda Popper replacement instead along with a new name: The Strong Wind.
So here's what I've revealed so far:
Name: The Survival Pack
Primary: The Strong Wind 30%
Secondary: The Last Sip 100%
Melee: The Rock Storm 90% (need to test ingame/in SDK)
Hat: ______________ 0%

Is it possible to put particle effects on weapons? If so, can someone tell me how?
Love it how, despite me making Shugo icons for all Scout primary, secondary, and some melee weapons before Skyrim was released, none of them were used here. I thought that what happened with Smashman wouldn't happen with me, but fool me twice and shame on me. I'm through with this icon business if none of my work will even be used...
Crits against spies would be a terrible stat.
How about the Cockroach Crusher then? We use shoes on cockies more than spiders anyway.
Shows promise. The silhouette still has to be significantly altered though, as not to be confused with the scatter. Hey, this idea may sound completely crazy, but how about just having one barrel? Here's another crazy idea. That one barrel could be a sawed-off aluminum bat. I still think it needs more tape, and I think you should consider the 'stopwatch attached somewhere' and 'car tire segment as forend' ideas.
Here's some more stream of consciousness to give you ideas: Barbed wire, tin can, knuckleduster (used as trigger?), playing card, tally cuts (you know, those indentations badasses carve in their guns to keep track of how many they've killed), bicycle parts, paperclip...
I really like the washed-out color palette of the gun, by the way.
You could also consider painting it something a bit garish than the Scattergun, to make it stand out more.
I see that someone liked my idea. It's really darn good made and I'll be using it when it's out.

Hi guys, How can I specify which TEXTURE (.vtf) should model have in QC file?
Because I have model of weapon with SPRAY and LIGHTER, but lighter has the same texture as spray.. :/
I wish I could lend some advice, but I have no idea what I'm looking at.
You need to assign a material to each part of your model seperately in whatever program you're using. Then in-game it will use a material which has the same name.
So if you assign spray.tga to the spray part and lighter.tga to the lighter part, after you compile it, it'll look for spray.vmt and lighter.vmt (in whichever folder you specify in the qc)
I did it but its still the same, but I will try it one more time, I probably did it badly :D
