I have some extra stuff at home I could get some weekend if anyone is interested:
    MSI GeForce 8800GTS 512Mb
    AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ (3Ghz)
A couple 500GB Hitachi DeskStars (from 2006) SATA
    200GB WD Caviar SATA
    160GB Maxtor SATA
    A couple PCI SATA Controllers
    2x 512Mb sticks of DDR 333 and 1x 256Mb stick
400W (maybe 450, don't remember) barely used Enermax PSU - Pretty nice actually

Feel free to PM me if you are willing to trade anything for any of the above items. Please be realistic. I don't really need much as far as hardware goes, so this is really a crapshoot.

Edit: oh, and an ABS Black Pearl that I don't want to ship.

If anyone is trading/selling a 650w single rail power supply that isn't junk I can trade it for money.

What is an ABS black pearl?

I guess I'm technically low on hard drive space (largest HDD is a 360gb) but in my mind I could just uninstall stuff I never use or watch anymore.

Black Pearls were a rebranded Lian-Li V2000. They added things like a integrated fan controller IIRC.

Being a Lian-Li underneath they were very good cases.

I've got a old iphone 3g with a broken touchscreen (small crack in the glass where there's no screen, and the lower one third of the touch recognition on the screen not working). could probably repair it but don't feel like it.
    who wants it?

I'll take it if you don't mind, I could probably use it to repair my brothers one. I don't really have much for exchange, unless you want an old 75gb IDE HDD

what's broken on your brothers one?
and all I'm going to want for it is shipment costs, unless someone bids higher than that.
although that 75GB IDE HDD sounds good to use in my original xbox. :smug:

I have an 8800 GTS 320mb lying around not doing anything, willing to trade for 7200rpm harddrives of any size or gift if noone can offer my anything.
Not sure if this is still going. But if it is I could use it for my mothers PC. It's not something she would desperately need, but it would definitely be a good replacement for her current Radeon HD 4350.

If you're interested PM me. I have a few old parts lying around, and a bit of money to pay for any shipping.

okay, well, then I've got to tell you I didn't get to fully testing it due to not getting past the lockscreen.
what I can confirm to be working are the following things: most of the motherboard, the LCD, the battery, the flash memory, the audio outlet, charging, USB access, the homescreen, the power button, the volume buttons, and the built-in speakers.
what I did get to test that didn't work were: the lower third of the touchscreen, and the vibration.

    Crap, it won't spin up.

I have a 250 gig one, but I'd need to ask my brother if it's ok to take. I'm sure he'd do that trade.

okay, care to PM me your address so I can calculate the costs?
also, the USB cable will be delivered with the phone, but not the actual USB charger, I'm using that myself for my current phone.

Accessories aren't a problem, my brother has them all. I seem to have used some makeshift mount in my computer, and I don't know how the fuck I got a screw on the other side of the case

I meant to also test some ram and the x1300 for some people but I completely forgot family was going to be over so I never got around to it.

Anyone got a long crossfire bridge? Capable of reaching 3 or 4 slots away? I'm suffocating my 5770 with the second one right under it, and my bridge doesn't reach down to the next slot....

I think they aren't made for long distances and I have no issues with my 6850 being "suffocated" by my (now useless) NIC but I'll try to find one online at least.

    Like this:

    http://www.amazon.com/ATI-CrossFire-.../dp/B003NLGR7I

Pretty sure nobody has any off-hand to give as they only ship with standard length ones.

Well thanks for that link anyway. I realize they're meant to be short things, (that one is really long it seems) but when my 5770 is hitting 95-98C under load for some games, with 80% fan, I'm worried. I did just get a fan for the GPU shroud, so I'll see how that goes too.

Just take the heatsink off and reapply thermal paste, it's probably applied horribly. My 4850 dropped like 20 degrees celsius, on load after I did.

make an offer if you're interested in anything, I'd honestly like to even out the gap between my GPU and CPU as I'm mainly playing CPU oriented games nowadays and I'd be fine with downgrading the 570 to get a better CPU

I may do that, need rubbing alcohol to clean the old off first though. Anything I should pay attention to while doing so, aside from standard grounding yourself and stuff?
