Server died.
Server died.
I want to tell you why... but it would spoil the fun.
Its back up though.
Plot, by any chance?
WHY DID I MISS THIS
And AMD said my processor could handle such things. To hell with thee, Open GL. To hell with thee.
So much plot![]()
-snip-
Server crashed?
Oh man this is awesome.
couldn't handle all the delicious plot, clearly.
Hooray for chaos worship!
It's almost as if this thread is turning into an SCP roleplay Minecraft thread.
Maybe you guys should make a thread in the Minecraft section for it, so actual discussion about the Foundation can take place?
And the facility became ash and the ash became dust and the dust became... nothing.
Okay, so, to summarize...
-Half the staff has gone batshit insane and started worshipping the Broken God
-I can't arm explosives
-I think everybody died
-Chickens everywhere
-There's an Enderman

Agreed. Somebody make a thread.
i think that's for the best.
I think the on-site nuke successfully went off.
Map reset soon, fellow agents!
Someone make a thread: From now on, no SCPcraft discussion in this thread.
Keep an office and a lab spare for me, lads. I'll be on t'morrow.
Im making a thread now
damnit guys stop putting up servers while i'm away i want to join in the fun too
Painterly has released one already.
I believe someone has already extolled the differences between skins and models.

Oh shit, my application just got accepted. Time to get writin'!
I really want someone to write up some experiments involving him, Cain, and Able. That would be interesting.
Such is life in the Foundation.
What I find funny is that this thread was created because a Minecraft topic mentioning the Foundation got sidetracked into general SCP discussion, and eventually got sent over here to remedy that.
Can't wait to see what gets pinged back this time.
Why hello there Dr. Bright.

And hello unto thee as well. Anything I can help you kids with?
First Mann, now Bright.
That's pretty cool, that we're attracting posts from the actual "staff" of The Foundation.
We do keep our eyes out for outside attention.
What are your thoughts on the whole "682 is boring because it's invincible and beats things that logically should beat it" thing?
Care to leak any classified information you have on hand? According to the list of things Dr. Bright is not allowed to do he can technically post it here...
:20bux: the classified info is a memetic kill agent.
I think there are more overpowered SCP's other then SCP-682. Plus it's far to integrated into the community so if it was to be removed then a load of SCPs would have to be updated.
I think I'm prejudiced, because I've been with the site since damn near the beginning. When we first started out, there were a lot of things we did because they were cool, at the time. And, for a while, we got into a very silly phase, which i think articles like 'Duke 'til Dawn' epitomize. I still like 682, maybe only for nostalgic reasons. Before the giant test log, he was kinda scaring. This man hating lizard, that just couldn't be killed. The test log kind of got out of control. They do that. And some people don't understand the lizard adapts, not absorbs... i still think it's a good, well written article. But it would probably work better without the giant test log.
I'm also going to kind of pimp myself here, but still reference the point. I wrote SCP-834 a couple of days ago. It's kind of... subtle. If I wanted to make it clearer, I could very easily add a test log, but i just know, if I do, people will add the STUPIDEST things to it, trying to get them to be useful, or KEWL.As fun as test logs are, they take the site from 'horror/interesting' to 'silly/stupid'
Also, congrats, I usually don't expound this much.

I, uh... I really like to draw a distinct line between myself, and the character of Dr. Bright. While I use the name to make myself recognizable, I'm not him, he's just a character I invented. And yeh, he's a little wacky. I think his response to such a request would be to punch you, through the internet.
And no, no classified information. We're very open about everything. There is no secret list of whats hidden behind the expunged or Black Boxes.
Oooh, there's a fun little thing. Something I've always wanted to add to the Site are SCPs known as 'Little Black Boxes' The skips that are always referred to as SCP-███ in the articles. In my head, they're actually SCPs too dangerous to number, only known by bizarre, descriptive names. The Mother of Darkness, The man at the Crossroads, The Ferrymen.
I've added the Facepunch SCP Server to the OP. Check it out, it looks pretty cool!
Could you give a little constructive criticism on this idea? I rather would like to become a member so I can post it on the site.
Since everyone is interviewing you, Bright, what's your favourite SCP?
it's funny when little things like how the sandwich tasted are stuck onto the end of otherwise catastrophic or gruesome reports
