after jaws i felt like i was jaws
after jaws i felt like i was jaws
after downfall i felt like i was hitler
after star wars i felt like i was chewbacca
after drive I felt like I was a faggot
maybe you are who knows? its probable.
I saw this the other day, pretty cool. I didn't think Drive Angry needed a prequel, but I'm not complaining.
I knew the music in those dream-like ambient sequences sounded familiar. Went to digging through my music library, remembered it was this:
Beautiful song.
Actually that was only in the workprint version, that song doesn't feature in the final cut.
they look really horrendous and filtered. because that's all you did, filtered them. if you don't vectorise something by hand it looks atrocious and there's zero point to it
This movie was ridiculous, I felt like I was watching slow motion zoom & pans of Ryan Gossling for 2 hours. I went in and expected an action movie, came out extremely disappointed, am I the only one who thinks this?
oh
ok :c
No because people knew better than to expect an action film because absolutely everybody was saying 'DON'T EXPECT A HIGH OCTANE ACTION FILM THIS IS A SLOW PACED THRILLER'
yes
your biggest mistake
Well the trailers generally portrayed as one but really as Rusty said, EVERYONE said don't expect it to be fast.
My favorite part was the helicopter chase and when that girl got her brains splattered on the wall
No, you're not, and you can go flop into the massive, brainless Fast Furious orgy with the rest of them.
Edited:
It's out on DVD now, there are plenty of reviews at your fingertips, spend two seconds reading before jumping into a movie with expectations?
Oh, really? Did they have something else in place that worked equally as well? Because I thought that was a brilliant choice of soundtrack for those moments.
pretty sure this wasn't posted yet

Yeah, I wish he could use some regular logo instead.
Didn't expect anything and still found it boring.
why do all the fan-made posters look better than the official ones
not all of them
p sure there were several posted in this thread that looked like total ass
No, that's definitely what the song was.
Uh it's completely not though - I guarentee you, it was this song in the workprint version as a placeholder. In the final version it's a similar song, but it's different. It's in the soundtrack, and by Cliff Martinez.
Edited:
You're thinking of this track
Or 'I Drive' (Can't find on youtube, check the song if you have the soundtrack).
I even went and double checked the work print, it definitely actually does use An Ending. The final version DOES NOT USE THIS, I can absolutely confirm it.
Very nice.
took me to see it quoted it see the hammer.
Hey guys, who wants to buy Drive on VHS?

What I wouldn't give to have the blu-ray cover look like that...
why do people like that illustration so much its messy and bad looking
It's so ~vintage~
yeah seriously it's a terribly implemented design
dat 80's feeling, man
I'm pretty sure a lot of stuff from that decade was messy
Something about art and drive does not mix with the fans, it's either a great rendition or a horrible abomination. This was posted on the drive fan page
This makes no sense and has no flow or central idea or theme.
that one is just plain horrible
it screams "got photoshop today, what do"
Drive
to the disco
oh sweet Jew god what the fuck
Reminds me of those ads for autism awareness.
that's probably what it is too.
