I always think this with Japan's censorship. They pretty much run the show in weird pornography, I'm sure most people here have at least heard of tentacle rape porn (which exists and not just in hentai form), but my trip to Japan exposed me and some friends to a whole lot of other hilariously fucked up genres:

That's what I've always heard about Hong Kong. China has always been more lax on HK since it's such of a big economic advantage for them. I wonder how some of the other cities like Shanghai are like.

I live in Guangzhou currently with my family and I fucking hate the internet because so much is blocked. It hasn't been fun at all. I use slow proxy sites to view things I could view in America much faster. If I have to use a program to view other sites faster, I rather not they are slower than fuck to just look at another site without a proxy.

I've seen Hongkong through video's on youtube ( a channel filming in HK) and i must say i am quite impressed. It looks like any city, but there are many places where people can chill out and enjoy the moment. And i love their red cabs. They look cool.

Dunno about much censorship on tv in the mainland, but I find it mostly lame.
I remember a few shows, in fact they were pretty violent.
The previews for a cop drama was more like some action movie.

Although there is one network that is pretty liberal, phoenix network or someshit, yellow swirly crap for a logo.

I was born in China. :) but yes, entertainment such as tv or Internet isn't the greatest there. Their Facebook is something called QQ and their servers are horrible. No youtube sucks too. I told my cousin to youtube it or something and he said, "whats that?". If you enjoy historical stuff it's definitely not a boring place to live. At least for me. I always enjoy my vacations back.

What I found even more odd is that any scene with tits isn't blurred.. You can see all of nudity. No pointed guns, no cigs, no alcohol, but they keep the nudity. For once, I think censorship got it right, censor things other people shouldn't do, but keep things we have no choice but to keep on our body. Censorship of nudity is about the stupidest thing I've ever seen on TV. But censorship here is the funniest thing I've witnessed living here.

My parents treated me differently. Always told me to cover my eyes in kissy parts and sexy time parts, but they let me watch and play the bloodiest, goriest shit ever (Like postal 2)
