I'd love a mod that puts items automatically into chests if they thouch.
E.g. A mob dies on a chest and drops an item, the item goes straight into the chest.
Easy enough to do. I could do it later if you want.

dmillerw, I have a question and you seem to know about minecraft in that aspect.
Would it be possible to change the mob spawning rate? I remember that one update had a higher rate, them it was removed. It was really fun though, and mob hunting was more rewarding and entertaining.
How would I change the car"s model in the car mod?

Enchantable iron bands.
You can accidentally enchant a bad band, such as Poison or Harm, and that's good balance too, right?
Linkable minecarts? I have a weird soft-spot for coal-powered minecarts, as they're still a good way to haul tons of supplies from one place to another. (or at least they would be, if they could link to other carts)
There used to be a mod that did this, but far as I know it fell off the face of the earth around 1.7.
You can use Railcraft's crowbar to link carts together, but IMO Railcraft makes minecart tracks far, far too complicated.
You can disable parts of railcraft, so you only have the machines or whatever.
Just one of those simple features that'd be awesome and give used to powered carts again, as with the advent of gold rails they have no use in transporting people anymore.
Railcraft makes the powered minecart much more powerful.

So, I just created a thaumcraft/extrabiomes world.
First off, I spawned with my back to this:

so then, you'd think that'd be it, right?

yeah, I spawned between two separate naturally occurring tainted areas.
and they're growing pretty damn fast.
getting spawn killed by tainted cows is no fun, but at least it'll be good for research.
Going to build a tower on a nearby hill and observe.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I need some help.
I've been trying to play Technic Pack for months now but I just keep getting the same error. I load my world, get a good 5 minutes of gameplay before all the blocks turn invisible and my game crashes and says "Minecraft has run out of memory". I've tried turning all the graphics down as low as possible, setting it as high priority in the task manager, reinstalling multiple times, but nothing seems to work.
I've tried searching for a solution tons of times, and it seems quite a few others are having this problem, but none of the solutions seem to work for me.
Also, not sure if this has to do with it, but I have to launch the game from the .jar file in the game directory, as the .exe launcher doesn't do anything.
Any ideas?
Contain it with wooden planks and use it to collect tainted artifacts, and eventually you can clean it up.
