So even less map detail that I have to put effort into!

That WOULD be if you were mapping for the PSP version, remember the quake coded version will not feature the entire singleplayer, it will be made up of mostly side story solo/coop maps, along with a bunch of multiplayer game modes due to limitations. It will still be very awesome.

Actually, I think it would be.... but none of us have one yet, and I dont have 250 bux sitting around :P

Not to mention the fact that we don't have hacked signing keys or even CFW for the Vita yet.

With the PSP we had CFW and the recently found signing keys (Way to go having a static signing key there Sony!) making it so much easier for a functioning app to be actually ran once it was made.

There was a hello world video, and with the backwards compatability with the psp games, i'm sure people can hack it in no time

I wouldn't count on it completely, after how long it took for CFW to be made for the PS3

Now, on that subject, I wish the PS3 had PSP backward compatibility.

Uh this might be a stupid question, but it's about the engine: Why did you guys create a engine from scratch somewhat based on the GoldSrc engine when you could of just used the GoldSrc or Source? The screenshots look great though, so you were definitely successful.

because then it would be a mod rather than a game and we wouldn't be able to distribute it ourselves

I'm the coder/designer of Granite.

The engine was originally for an indie game i was developing that was based on HL1. I had developed NPC's and weapons based on or from HL1, but i didn't have a big enough team to continue the game and i stopped development on it. But i still had a desire to continue the engine for a purpose, after finding conscript on indiedb, i got in contact with biodude and now conscript uses this engine as the PC version of conscript.

First of all, i find it funny how you can't spell Kieron even though my username blatantly says it.
Second of all, i dropped anomalous because hardly anyone was working on it, and indiedb refused to accept my page.
Third of all, your scripts were average at best.

Cs was made with 3 totally dedicated people who worked like crazy, you can have a large team with people not working on it.

hey guys, biodude's sleeping so I guess I'll post the update for yall

Welcome back guys,

First off we have 3 new weapon models by juniez, working hard on making awesome looking weapons, even at a lower poly amount.
