We sort of have to wait for the owners to switch servers.

Would probably help if there were events in the group too, to encourage and let everyone know we're playing.

Such as scheduled containment breaches? I'm pretty sure there was a similar idea floating around a while back, and it sounded quite fun, but then the server's active population dropped.

I think the best idea is simply to have higher ups produce a new SCP and then organize proper research and capture expeditions/missions to get them. That worked well with the meteorite, the odd tree, and a few humanoid ones we found.

That's cool to, but I meant events more like "Hey everyone, get on the server we're all playing" events.

Due to the nature of SCP-XXX, containment is very difficult, bordering on impossible. Should any instances of SCP-XXX-2 be found outside of Site-[REDACTED] and Foundation facilities, Containment will be
considered breached, and MTF-Xi-11 will be dispatched to remove said instances and administer class-A amnesiacs to any witnesses.

Description:
SCP-XXX-1 Consists of a unique weather system located above Site-[REDACTED], It should be noted that the site was not set up to deal with SCP-XXX, but that it formed over the facility following the events of
Incident-[REDACTED].

Within the weather system, decreased temperatures and heavy snowfall are observed, this is anomalous as Site-[REDACTED] is located in the   [REDACTED]   archipelago, situated close to the equator.
The sea within SCP-XXX-1 is completely frozen, despite the temperature not being cold enough to freeze salt water.
Snow resulting from precipitation by SCP-XXX-1 has unique properties in that snowmen made from this snow are observed to animate, trailing SCP-XXX-1's snow.
These animated snowmen will be known as SCP-XXX-2. Other snow-based objects have not yet shown these properties.

SCP-XXX-2 has shown to not be aggressive towards the creators of any instances of SCP-XXX-2 and those that the creators consider themselves allied to. They have, however, been shown to be aggressive towards any that intend to harm any of these creators, this behaviour was first observed when D-83245 got into a fight with D-94321 during testing of SCP-XXX-2, the snowman began to throw snowballs at D-83245 immediatedly after the fight began, before they were terminated by security.

OK, for backstory, the SCPF are currently investigating a massive surface rift that has just opened in Russia.
For fun, I figured we could start off with a shitty beach house, then expand into the rift using classic wooden mining props, then build some kind of massive facility inside the rift or something. *shrug*
