Boohoo cod sold more than skyrim. The thing that you cry on a forum will not magically shift sales in any way. So why are you arguing?
Saying cod is bad will not stop cod players from playing it. Saying cod is good will not do anything either.
This seems like a really stupid shit to argue over. Most importantly, why do you give a shit what another person does in their free time?
Both sides need to shut up. If you really are not a less intelligent person, stop defending your tastes and attacking others because that's pointless.
Cod is a success, it earns millions in cash for the developers with minimal work. If you don't like that, don't buy the fucking game. Jeez.

I think PC sales of MW3 were lowers than PC sales of MW2. I recall a bunch of my Steam friends playing MW2, but I rarely see MW3 played, it's 2nd to last on the hours thing on the home page of steam community.

I'm going to be honest, I'm not at all offended that the game is selling. It doesn't impact me in the slightest. Good developers will continue to make good games for us, while Activision will continue spewing out this shit for it's crowd. As long as the crowd likes it, I cannot find a problem. Everybody is happy. The fanbase gets their game that they want and Activision gets their money. I have no right to tell their fanbase what they should and should not want out of this franchise. That is their decision, not mine.
Of course I still HATE these games, but still, I don't honestly have a problem with this. It's just business being business. If you don't like it, well, then here's three words for you:

For me, it's not that CoD is bad, just because I don't like it. It's just that my friends have become completely ignorant towards other games and say that there aren't any other better or great games than CoD.

Facepunch is constantly on and off the CoD hate bandwagon so it's hard to tell what's going on.

cod invented fps and ironsights is what they usually say, most other companies try to make cod-style games, cod is a cancer to the fps community

Crysis 2, Far Cry 3, Medal of Honor 2010 are examples of games where they rip unbalanced aspects from Call of Duty's multiplayer like killstreaks and shoehorn it into their own game.
I don't want these games to have Call of Duty multiplayer, I want something new, fresh and innovative.

I own Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 and I love them. Call of Duty itself is a great game, the stupid thing here is that people buy the same game every fucking years for the same price.

This is pretty much my gripe, Call of Duty was always about intense singleplayer campaigns.

Well after putting out the same game 4 times in a row with just new textures, maps the size of a shoe box, and 100% scripted and linear single player. I would hope the bugs would be gone by now
