    I really wish they would improve the animations for Counter-Strike. TF2's animations are great, they look natural and feel natural. Counter-strike's is just odd and looks weird.

    I meant the firstperson animations, I'm fine with everything else but the viewmodels have an unnatural movement for me.

    well the taser is a short-range humiliation weapon, why not add a long range one?
    People will probably bitch enough as it is about an insta-kill weapon in close range. Joke / non-lethal or not, making a long-ranged equivalent would be a nuisance. And if it wasn't insta-kill (or even just pathetic damage), then there'd be no reason to get it over the AWP aside from possibly being cheaper, making it on useless side of things. vv

    Yeah, at least the taser is actually useful at close range

    I really hope they add some type of third-person gamemode setting. Playing CS:S with an OTS view was so awesome.
    Code:
    alias view1 "bind q view2;cam_idealdistright -15"; alias view2 "bind q view1;cam_idealdistright 15";bind q view1;
    thirdperson; cam_idealdistright 15; cam_idealdist 30; cam_idealdistup -25;
    Toss that in the console and it sets your view to over-the-shoulder, binds your q key to swap shoulders.

    Bullets go where gun points.
    Not in a cone where the camera points.

    I'd say that's a major step forwards tbh.

    Did you even read the thread? At all?

    People keep asking the same damned question, and if they were intelligent enough to actually read about the game first they'd know that it's still absolutely nothing like most console games

    The big thing imo with CS:GO is that body health has been toned down a lot. You're no longer a tank at your torso. Even with full kevlar, bodyshots are a very viable (and often necessary) option.

    Also,

    Seems like a console command but not sure if it's actually going to be used or added.
    Looks pretty awkward. If you tried to aim with that in CS you'd be dead before you could get a shot off anyway.

    i thought there wasn't going to be any auto-aim, or any advantages for the console versions because of the console + pc gameplay, and in general there's just no advantage

    Nope it's already been confirmed to not be in the PS3 version, because of the cross platform play.

    don't try to translate just to get a key, also it's a low amount of keys and people already got it, so don't expect to get one so soon just for joining and translating a few strings

    I agree with you on Counter-Strike's weaponry needing an animation update, but Team Fortress 2? There's still a huge number of weapons/items (Mostly from unnecessary promotions) that have a lot of clipping issues.

    Yea, TF2 does have many clipping issues, but I'm making more of a fuss over the animations. TF2's looks smooth and natural for most weps. None of CS:S do.

    Well to be blunt about it - CS:S reuses animations from older CS games. So they're like, ancient. TF2's animations are new and fresh to the franchise.

    That's what I'm saying. Why don't they make the animations better? They have to re-animate the model anyways so why not make it look smooth and good? If you compare the animations they don't look the same anyways. They're definitely a step up from CS:S but they still look unnatural at times.

    Edited:

    Also, is it legal to upload the music in CS:GO? Some gameplays show music playing at round ends, when the bombs planted, etc.

    Someone on the CS:GO Steam forums found a heap of images in the CS:GO files. Of all the images the most interesting I found was the concept art the characters. Most notably the concept art includes female characters and various factions such as the Yakuza. Here are a few of my favourites:

    You can find the gallery of character concept art here: http://imgur.com/a/hz8a8#0. If you're also interested in the other images they were all uploaded to mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/?2brh52mwoyolyoq
