    Most melee weapons (hammer, axe, etc) are going to be usable for their normal purpose. You can craft with them, but you can also swing them too

    That's good. The one thing I've always hated about Half-Life 2 is that they turned the crowbar from a tool into a weapon. Walk around in the Plaza on a HL2RP server with a crowbar and you'll get amputated.

    I like the sound choices for the wooden plank. Is there going to be sort of gore system? Like per-say some thing sharp would cause more blood, and gore than something dull. Or is such a thing just not possible with source?1

    I understand that much, but great work so far. I really plan on hosting this at some point. I mean honestly, this looks source mod worthy.

    why not have it so when it's loading the normal items read a set of text files full of item data, then create them into items on the script startup?


    oops, this was a response to the "on the fly item creation" that person mentioned.

    You might want to consider creating a single player version of Vein. I could definitely help on any voice acting you'd want done or modeling. I think with GMOD 13, it allows us to make source mod feeling game modes that give us a lot more opportunity and freedom to work with rather than the conventional source mod.

    You might want to consider creating a single player version of Vein. I could definitely help on any voice acting you'd want done or modeling.     I like that idea, I don't know if you'll like this idea, but one thing I would like are food stashes. I'm not sure if you like this idea, I'm taking some ideas from Dead Island. I would definitely love to see people role playing as police, and firemen and mechanics and such, stuck and having to work together with their skills. I can already see this as a great gamemode.

    It's SQLite. No mysql required. I'm actually going to make support for MySQL right now for multi-server stuff.

    Do you do the animations for the weapons yourself? The broken plank seems kinda weak. Not much power in the swing at all.

    Will there be anything scripted that will be used as a general currency, or will players have to ICly choose an item to use as a kind of currency eg. cigarettes.

    If the latter, what kind of items do you have like cigarettes that would\could be used as a currency (eg. small un-fabricatable items like in Fallout, bottle caps, or stuff like that you know)

    There's no currency. If you want to suggest a prop to itemize, go for it.
