What happens if the tags are long and you have four of them added? (so that they take enough room to span the whole area where the text input is)

The input (and the tags if needed) would wrap to the following line.
You're welcome

The RSS feed is very useful, especially when linked with something like zapier and twilio. Not that i'm suggesting anything.
btw all the facts are under 160 chars
@Miljaker
Will tile8 be able to change the tiles to my pinned folders?
I disagree with the background, but apart from that yeah it's nice. a bit cramped though.
He's talking about the modal, not the site.
Ah I misunderstood.
Working on a reviews website for products designed for college students:
How's that for a basic layout?
It's a great start, nice job keeping it clean.
I'd play around with the padding a bit, particularly increasing it between the three columns and having none between the gray box and the hero unit. You might also want to consider introducing a bright highlight color, it's a bit monochromatic at the moment.
- Add (10px) padding to the top header ( "About Us", "Blog" and so forth ), and remove the border and keep it full on black.
- For the grey background, make it fully white and remove the grey box around the three columns.
Strange suggestions, but I'm sure it'll look more modern and professional that way. Just my personal suggestions.
any typography aficionados recognize the font used for "17 October" and the timer? I think it's folio but I'm not sure (I guess Helvetica is close enough)

Tile8 will just be a tile sharing site. You need oblytile to change tiles. I think it is possible but I'm not 100% sure. Guy I'm working with on tile8 suggested we make our own software and I think its a good idea. But it will take a while, I wouldn't want to release alpha or beta versions of it.
Sorry, I was just really really bored and wanted to try a similar layout. Feel free to use it if you like it
If you do make your own software, make it have a minimize button. That is probably my biggest problem with oblytile.

According to WhatTheFont
WhatTheFont has the general problem of the fact that most of the fonts you will find from it are basically sold from them and are all paid fonts.
No idea what the font is but its not that one, the C and R are different.
How many of you know about heroku or node.js?
Changed a little bit based on what was suggested, I like this.
I'm not sure if I want to take the grey box out from the three columns under the hero image, but i'll play around with it.
A large majority, they aren't really obscure tech.
I thought Ryan Dahl's (the creator of node.js) talk to be a pretty good intro if you're just starting. It's not much of a tutorial, but there's still good stuff to know
I looked at the top bar and I thought:"Hey, what an awesome texture!"
...and then I realised how much dust is on my screen.
I'd take that with a grain of salt, that's nearly two years old and things have changed heaps.
heap overflow?
slick
Went to buy a hdd, end up getting asked to leave the store.

That kid gives me a really, really bad gut feeling of annoyance. It's hard to look at it.
it means it's working.
Why do you want me to be repelled from your site?
lol i used to do that with anyhub
I'm joking Terra, I'll put some clothes on it in the future just for you :)
Ostrich Sans from THE LEAGUE OF MOVEABLE TYPE is free and identical (almost) to that.
What happened to anyhub?
Edited:
Myself and about 3 other people in the world used it occasionally
I've been lurking here for a while and I'm debating if I should show off my game site.
I know that bootstrap is generally frowned upon these days but it is developed using that. I recently found http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/ (the code example parts) so I am redoing all of my "ghetto features" with the proper and not-so-ugly ones that bootstrap already has (whoops)
Edited:
Oh yeah and it's also in PHP, so uh, also hate me for that
It's not bootstrap itself, it's just that it's normally done pretty shittily.
Oh, okay, once I finish updating the alerts I'll post some pictures!
How does this look so far? It's for a college assignment, I'm being fairly over the top with it already seeing as I think I'm the only person that isn't doing it in Microsoft Publisher - but I want it to look nice so no harm done.
I need some criticism on the navigation, I have no idea what to do with it. And maybe an idea on how to fill the rest of the page and what to put in the footer. It's an online store for a vinyl record shop.
Why does everybody call me Terra
Because we love you.
