works for me but not worth the performance loss in an already poorly performing game.

I see it working fine in the different pictures, you're just looking at the wrong thing. What you're looking at is shitty shadows.doesnt work for me AT ALL
with the ingame aa on high/ catalyst control center set to application managed
with ingame aa set to off/ catalyst control center set to application managed
ingame aa set to off/ catalyst control center set to 4x AA
as you can see there isn't much of a difference in all 3 pictures

actually with the ingame AA there is a SLIGHT difference on the character model, i notice this on the legs.

Try going through the pictures to see the difference, it's clearly there.

If you have a ATI Radeon HD 6900 series card ingame AA is still disabled because it causes some issues.

The AA in this game is shit, it looks like that FXAA crap from Skyrim, it blurs everything and makes the game look like hell, especially the interface, why couldn't they have done proper AA?

It's probably just a quick fix to stop people from complaining about the lack of AA.

Mine doesn't do that... I definitely think it's a per GPU thing.

thats the thing for me, AA doesn't impact my performance at all. AA should lower my framerate just a bit.

Fuck the Jedi Sentinel is weak as fuck, I'm stuck on one of my class quests and its either get fucked on Hoth or get fucked in my CQ. Anyone on Sith Meditation Sphere with a Republic character?

i was not really interested in this game that much after 2 weeks or so and due to recent events i canceled my account sub.
the story mode in a mmo aspect wore off quickly.
Till bioware brings out some cool stuff i don't think ill be re-subbin.

counting world PvP i've killed a total of 57 Repubs today. (world PvP ones were my level or 2 higher) with only 2 deaths.

Honestly I've never seen such negativity before, even the STO forums are not this bad.
Also AA doesn't work for me at all, between High and Off, I see no changes.

Do they have any plans on optimizing the game or is it just my lousy computer giving me these horrid lags and long loading times?
They are like lag-spikes, but they don't spike, they stay peaked.
Loading a conversation takes more then 20 sec most of the times.
And every minute or so while traveling, it freezes for a few seconds. It's annoying when it happens in a battle.
When I first landed where ever it was and ( minor spoiler, I think only for BH but no idea... )
I encountered the relatives, I think it was, of that fastest drawer or something, back on Hutta. He was some thug or whatever. And I was suppose to battle these two angry relatives , after the conversation ended and they became hostile, it took probably 3-4 minutes or so before I could actually do anything. I have no idea how I survived but it was a huge pain in the ass.
And yes, I have every video setting on lowest or disabled.

One of the developers specifically stated on Twitter that the loading screen issues will be fixed in this patch.

Finally got my disk copy today shipped to me even though I had already bought it online and downloaded it. But extra with it, American was nice enough to send me 1 million ant's and ant eggs with it.

It's great fun. Very good lore and game mechanics.
The only bad thing about the game is the poor performance.
Other then that, it's a gem.
