Would any of you guys recommend this game for a WoW/Star Trek Online/EvE Online veteran looking for a new MMO? The fact that it's made by Bioware alone (and the decent reviews) are tempting me to say yes, but I'd like to hear some overall opinions before I buy the game.

Honestly, so long as you can put up with a few bugs, and some major faction imbalence and a little FPS lagg in battlegrounds you'll probably like it, take most MMO aspects from wow, throw in how guard+taunts work from warhammer online, then put a KOTOR-Quality backstory driving the whole thing and you have TOR.

Also the warzone lag is funnily fixable. Apparently someone at BioWare decided in a fast paced area that TCP was a good protocol to use. You know, the networking protocol that has a shitton of overhead and if you miss a packet requires it to be resent in a fast paced area where if you miss that packet anyways thats around half a second until you get the resent one.

Why do I get 10k from daily escort ? I guess that could also be only the first time you do it, I just did my first set of them... But if it's 10k per mission per day, that's INSANE experience over a minor bit of nothing.

Make sure you do the Taris or Balmorra bonus series, whichever side you're on. Lots of credits to be had there, as well as from Nar Shadaa regular quests. Big boost there in my experience.

I haven't done any of the Heroics on Taris or the previous planet... And yes, I skipped that but I suppose I could go back and do it.

I would advise to never skip Heroics, some of them give moddable gear. Unless you know for sure the reward isn't worth the time it takes to find a group.

Ok guys i need a little help. I just bought the game and installed it then set up an account and everything went just fine. Then when i try to log in on the launcher it tells me that i am "logged in from a region that we do not allow someone to play from". I live in America so i don't really know whats going on. Any advice guys? I already contacted customer support but it will probably be a while before i hear back figured i would try here

Do you use a proxy or something that would make the game think you're in a different region?

Its an emergency escape for if you enter someone else's ship. Say they enter a space mission and you want to leave, you can use the escape pod.

vette and her master entered the ship hangar after a long day of questing. she wore a rusted down shock collar that was fixated on her neck by imperialists after she was caught on korriban. her master, darth arthas, held the controller in his right hand, ready to use it at any given notice. they entered arthas' ship.

the shock collar suddenly went off. "that's what you get for running your mouth at that imperial agent back there. we could've gotten a hundred more credits if it weren't for you, you useless freak". little did he know that vette actually liked the pain. "Well if ya didn't take so long killing those spies near Hualk's Tomb, maybe he would've given us more money", Vette said, hoping to get shocked again. Arthas looked at her menacingly and pushed the button to set off her collar. He left her and walked to his room to rest before leaving for Tattoine.

"I've got to find a way to find that shock controller", vette thought to herself as she sat on her bed. She walked to Arthas' room and saw him sleeping, but he was still holding the controller to the shock collar. "Drat", Vette thought. She walked up to arthas and carefully moved her hands into position. Arthas' spider sense woke him up and he immediately pushed the button to shock her.

"What are you doing you filthy slave?", Arthas asked. "I'm glad I decided to leave the collar on. I wake up and find you standing over me. You weren't plan on killing me, where you?" Vette knew she was in trouble. She had to think fast. "Master, to be truthfully honest with you, I enjoy getting shocked. I was going to take the controller away from you to use, I wasn't going to hurt you or anything, I promise."

"I'm glad you're honest with me, Vette. I like that sort of thing too, since I'm a bad guy sith and all. He pushed the button and shocked her again. They undressed and made passionate love while the ship traveled to Tattoine. "Aren't you glad you were caught by the dark side, vette?", arthas uttered after the sex ended. "those jedi guys wouldn't even hold hands with you on the first date." vette laughed and took out a cigarette. "no smoking in the ship, Vette", Arthas said. He shocked her and checked the star map.

"I know a guy on Tattoine who can remove this rusty thing and put on a real nice shock collar for you that has twice the voltage, but it won't damage your body", Arthas mentioned. Vette said, "well if your ship wasn't such a P.O.S. we'd be there by now." He shocked her again.

the shared tree for every class does
actually the shared for knight/warrior is probably the only one that doesn't
but dirty fighting/lethality for smuggler/agent focuses on damage over time
i cant think of the name for the shareds for BH and trooper but they focus on the ammo cell that does damage over time
consular/inquisitor also focuses on damage over time to an extent
