I'm back. Dinged 47 last night. This game is awesome. Loving the Imperial Agent story. Started an Operative and a Powertech as well.

people seem to think general is only broadcasted to people like 10m away.
And i've edited the ini file to try and get better draw distance and generally get it looking better. Here's some shots from another forum.

Won my first match at Alderaan today! Team split up evenly, half went right, half went left, and we just held those points. Got first on the scoreboard, nine medals, and the most kills as a level 28 Vanguard. Tanking in PvP is stupid easy.

Prepare to ask for more money a lot only to get something vague like "i've been authorized to pay out a considerable wage" so you don't actually know if you're getting more. There needs to be a ''give me a straight answer ya cunt" option after every one of those.

I dont know what it is, I actually cant stand having him follow me around any longer. He doesnt fit in with my character at all. Also I play a female smuggler and all he does is stare at my ass.

leveling a sage with a guildie while no raids/pvp dailies.
seems okay I guess, I'm not a fan of caster classes though.

if they did a lifetime sub that costs £100-£120 i'd buy the game

That price would never happen in a million years. Seeing as one 6 month sub costs £46.14 and a year would cost £92.28 £120 for lifetime would never happen.
Would it be cool if it did? Yes.

I facepalm every time someone speculates the game going F2P. It's never going to happen in the next 10 or more years.

One thing I've noticed is that every game I've seen which has offered a Lifetime Subscription, either has gone, or announces plans to go F2P around the same time the sub starts paying for itself, and I'm pretty sure I know why.
The lifetime sub gives the devs that instant cash injection they want/need at the start.
Unfortunately, since it's a one-off payment, that kind of cash-flow doesn't continue, income starts decreasing as more people buy the Lifetime Sub. Eventually when they've used that money from the lifetime subs, they'll find having that many people on the game who aren't paying anything is unsustainable.
Either the game goes big, or it goes F2P, that's the gamble they're making with Lifetime Subscriptions

So I got sick of being on the dead faction (Republic) and rolled an Empire character on The Fatman.
There are more people on Dromund Kaas at 3 AM then people on the Republic fleet at peak hours on a Saturday.
So glad I gave up Republic, there's actually people here!

Yeah, there's a whole lot more Empire than Republic from what I saw. Though from actual stats I think they're pretty even, so it must just be bad luck.

So apparently XFOR are some of the biggest douches I've ever met in any MMO. They advertised for a run of Karaggas Palace, we get to the first boss only for me to get a PM from the group leader. He wants to replace me with a guildy because, well its a guildy. I would normally be fine with this, until he has the fucking balls to try and get me to leave my current guild and join theirs. So now I have an entire guild full of people to never group with.

Welp, I met the worst Marauder DPS ever. They didn't use any of their dots and it was bad to the point where even if they died, it didn't make much difference.
