The Galaxy Nexus' NFC chip is in the battery, right?

If that's the case, could the Note get NFC if it got an NFC battery and the right software?
You can get then in MicroSD cards too.

So, anybody have any idea how to fix scratches on a Galaxy Nexus? I've got one on the top bezel, intersecting the speaker well and a smaller one just above the screen and right beneath the larger one. They're significant enough to feel.

Can you get one of those military grade sticky covers that hold out against knives scratching them for it?

I had one on my old ipod and it felt thick enough that I recon you wouldnt feel the scratches at all.

It's not a matter of feeling them, they're out of the way of the screen, but my OCD tendencies are making me go nuts, seeing my otherwise perfectly fine Nexus with an ugly scratch on its top. I'm getting a case and screen protector anyway, but I want to repair it before the protector is applied.

    $100 price cut on Sony's Tablet S!

    [release]
Sony has cut $100 off the price of its first tablet, the Tablet S, in a move to entice consumers to its Android slate.

Those who buy a Tablet S also receive a free 180-day trial of Sony's Music Unlimited service, as well as five free rentals from Sony's Video Unlimited Service.

Through the end of January, the company is offering up five free downloadable "Classic PlayStation" games in its PlayStation Store app for new Tablet S owners as well.

The price drop, as listed in Sony's online store, pushes the Tablet S down to $399.99 with 16 gigabytes of built-in storage or $499.99 for 32 gigabytes of storage.

The dual-screen Sony Tablet P, which made its debut alongside the Tablet S as a prototype in April, still hasn't been released or given a launch date, although the tech giant promises it is on the way.

The Tablet S features a 9.4-inch touchscreen with 1280 x 800 resolution and a wedge-like shape that makes the slate feel something like a rolled magazine in the hand. A Wi-Fi Internet connection is needed for use.

The device also has a 5-megapixel camera in the rear and a 0.3-megapixel camera up front, 1-gigabyte of RAM and a dual-core Nvidia Tegra2 processor. The tablet runs on Google's Android Honeycomb operating system, but Sony has promised an update to the newer Android Ice Cream Sandwich.[/release]

Yeah, $100 price drop is pretty nice and you get some more stuff.

7-inches? Maybe the Galaxy Tab that's 7 inches

My guess is that you got the phone recently do you have any trial insurance you could use to get a new phone.

Report it stolen and write the story down you provide you will be asked to repeat it many times. Get the times and dates spot on.
Report to police give them EMI number (maybe called something else)
Wait a week or so new one in the post.

Or you can deal with your OCD issue like a man and get the fuck over it.

You can always acquire root and flash custom roms, locked bootloaders just prevent you from accessing recovery and such

I want to do this too. GTA 3 will run on my phone, but because of the ROM or something, it thinks that the phone can't run it. I purchased GTA 3 but I can't actually download it, which saddens me

That's funny, because when I have tested (I have deleted it after the first level) if MC3 works on my phone (SGS) it worked perfectly

I think the phone needs to have an extra battery pin for the NFC antenna contact on the battery.
