CM9 has no undervolting/overclocking, but it should be under 'Voltages' in setCPU

Amazing phone and support for this price.

Also the on screen keyboard on my tablet sounds like a real keyboard/typewriter, nice touch.

Latest beta should fix stuff like that if you're on cm9. Or install from the website.

That's about right. If your budget can't stretch any further, that's the best phone to get. You could also check out the Galaxy S, which iirc has the same internals as the Nexus S but with a MicroSD slot. comparison

Overall they're both solid phones and you won't regret buying them.

The ROM, I could see, but I'm using Faux's kernel and it's listed as having undervolt. Apparently it's preundervolted already, though, so I don't need to do it manually, but I'd rather know what to do and how.

What's the best custom OS/Rom to flash onto it?

I've only ever flashed 2.3 onto a 2.2 phone... so I'm pretty new at this. I'm looking for something powerful, but not too daunting to jump into... with maximum compatibility/support and such.
