The parking lot where was the nuke device is underground. Also, in the housing of the nuke, you can read in the instructions that the safe zone is more far of 55 Km. Enough for wipe out all the surface as well as the underground complex.

Still, 55 km was the recommended safe distance from the bomb.
Though it was detonated partially underground and under Black Mesa's largest ordinance storage facility.
Yeah, that definitely would have taken a good sized chunk out of Black Mesa and the area surrounding it.

To be fair, as I understand it, the statement that the mod itself would release two weeks after the release of the soundtrack was not vague, and Hubicorn only retracted said statement when his post acknowledging but not refuting it was picked up by fansites ("This is why we can't have nice things" my arse; he knew the post would cause ears to prick up and was fishing for the attention). The only thing DSO Gaming seem to have faulted on is missing this memo -- that the mod will no longer be releasing soon after the soundtrack.

No shit. This statement still stands. The mod comes out two weeks after the soundtrack is released. What they have done was, taking Joels reply "Which shouldn't be much longer" and interpret it as "release of the soundtrack is next week".

Late edit: Well, maybe I'm being a tad too cynical with a flat-out "No", but "take anything said by someone other than the team leader, and done outside of the official announcement forum, with a giant grain of salt" (paraphrased, obviously) strikes me as nothing more than a manoeuvre to gain more wiggle room with "unofficial" statements/comments ultimately failing to come to fruition -- the release of the soundtrack signifying the imminent release of the mod itself being one of them.

No one has refuted the "two weeks after" statement yet.
They've just been denying that the soundtrack is coming out tomorrow.

Also, 46% done? is not possible. The last time they said the progress done was around 80% (the last year i think).

In short: There's no accurate estimate to when it will come out because there's always going to be things that need to be tweaked and if something breaks, there's no estimate to whether it will take an hour or a week to finish.
It will be finished when it's finished.
