Seems like V2 was automatically locked so here's V3.

We were talking about cup holders. And I, have none.

    Oh man, I killed V2.

    I made a post-ending thread.

    My life is complete.

I'm going to ko kill myself now.

    Edited:

    Kidding of course.

So today my mechanic had a vehicle torn apart in the garage right in the doorway so I had to turn away a job. Such is the life of an auto shop owner slash mechanic slash indie game developer.

    I don't know what I am anymore.

My brothers vw passat has cup holders a lot like that, but they are further in, so the only thing that would 'fit' in them is a can, but then it wouldn't hold them, because they are only half an inch deep.

On a side note, my brother is trying to sell his passat and rebuy a 6th gen honda accord coupe; With an i4, 5 speed.. His first car was a 2001 honda accord ex, with a v6 automatic. Someone pulled out in front of him and totaled it, so he thought he wanted to try something new, but he ended up hating his Volkswagen. It just feels like 'a car' to him, and not something he really feels passionate about or feels a connection with, and i am really excited that he is hopefully going to get a car that he feels that way about again. It would be fun to have my brother feel the same way about his car, as i do mine.

I don't have any cup holder's. All of mine are broke.

If I did have any they would still be broken quickly. Stupid plastic!

Were is Aftermarket Part's that are made out of metal when you need them.

I went JDM and got an air vent cupholder.

It can hold small drinks and cans..

America has conditioned me to drink large amounts of drink out of large containers.

My 'Prix cupholders are used as cannon, because if I put my cup in the passenger side, when I'll turn, it'll fly up the passenger window, and vise versa.

I generally don't drink or eat in my car. I'd be pissed if I got something spilled on my mint CRX Si seats. :C I keep bottles of pop between my seat and center console though, pretty much the perfect spot to wedge a drink bottle.

My jetta has some flimsy mechanism that slides out of the center dash that resembles cupholders. Of course being a VW they're broken and probably have been since it rolled off the assembly line.

So I was thinking of getting a car in the future, hopefully someone can give me advice on either getting a 87-93 Mustang 5.0 5spd or 85-92 Camaro with a 5spd.

Any benefits, downsides, or what else to get?

I finally found a picture of an Mk1 Golf with fender mirrors

I want to do that myself on my Golf but with chrome mirrors that'll look pretty much the same as that.
The standard mirrors just feel way too close to me when I sit in it and I think it'll make it look more classic so, opinions?

I fucking hate the cupholders in my car (89 supra). If I put a drink in it, it will be fucked when I accel or brake because the lid flip back closed on them.
    also prevent me from shifting

my rear cup holders dont really work since the center console hinge is fucked so it breaks if you load it
and my front 2 are kinda fuckey, one is unusable if the car is in park since the gear shift angles over it.
