I own a 91 Mr2. It's a pretty fun car. I like the older ones better though, I'm not sure why though.

I love getting new wiper blades. That first spray-n-wipe is always heavenly

This one. I want it. I've decided I want a GT/CS mustang. Rare, stands out and awesome.
Oh and isnt an auto better for drag racing? I need to know if I want manual or not.
Yes automatic is better than manual when it comes to drag racing.
Well it is. Unless you really know how to shift automatic would be better.
in theory
Dual clutch automatic with a ratchet shifter is the way to go. You can smoke the manual guys off the line and up to the eighth mile but after that they have a little advantage on you.
Going to call that man about the explorer tomorrow. Hopefully it isnt a POS
1. Searching through Vehicles
2. Woah, that's cheap, low KMs, new-ish model year
3. Oh... it's in yellow.
:(
easy fix

I've seen enough Spray Painted cars to know I would not subject any vehicle to that kind of torture.

Me want.
For the love of god no.
That looks... unique? vv
The tin man's ride.
um, if you paint right you can get a nice look with a rattle can
My truck was doing this when I first bought it - it's actually incredibly common in my truck though (05 Silverado 2500).
In my truck, the steering shaft goes from the steering wheel down to a universal joint type deal and then out through the firewall horizontally, I guess so that the steering column can collapse in an accident so that the energy can transfer that way instead of back through your body.
Anyways, in the 2500 and 3500 Chevys, it is awful common that play develops in the universal joint (and in a bushing nearby, as well). GM's fix has been releasing "new designs" that work for a while, or alternatively injecting some really tacky lube into the joint to take up the space so that it can't rattle, which, again, fixes it for a short time.
I can't say for sure that it's the same issue, but it was the intermediate steering shaft and that bushing in the steering column making a clunk noise when i hit bumps in my truck. There's no safety concern, play or anything else in the wheel, it's just an annoying noise.
I got my license back today after my parents called the school and cleared the bullshittery. yay.
Also i let dad drive my truck today and he fucked up my trans. His fat ass burnt out 3rd. Atleast it was his fault this time.
Yes except the average person doesn't paint right. I wouldn't trust myself with a spray can. I don't have a drive-way to work with, I need my vehicle regularly, and I don't have very steady hands.
Not to mention, the quality of Spray Can paint is awfully low.
I think I'm gonna spray paint my Golf black when the summer comes.
The paint on it hasn't been touched since 1983 and it's in veeeeery poor condition.
Justin is the spray paint wizzard. I still really want to see how the rest of the car looks painted black.
My road tax cost £143 for 6 months. Me sadface
Bloody hell what are you driving, a CO2 powered monster truck?
Mine is a hair under that for the whole year D:
sorry justin but all those fds look so sad
needs more these
The black one without the hood and the white one with the wide body kit parked behind it were both LS swaps, 5.7 Lr V8 Corvette engines. Blue/Green pearlecent looking one in the driveway is the hosts. Little bit of background i guess. The stock silver FD is...well, stock. I still prefer the look of the FC's but that's just me.
Edited:
Maybe I'll get in there with a nice sander and get that bondo fixed and paint the rest some time. It just takes a lot of work to do.
Edited:
Found a picture someone else took that shows there actually were more FC's:

That's an awesome stump.
Poor mans DeLorean comes to mind...
it is the best.
That does seem pretty pricey, is your car newer than 2001?
Bonus for older cars they fall into two brackets... Under 1.6 and over 1.6 so mine is only £118 for 6 months, if it were in the modern tax brackets I dread to think how much it would cost.
Cept' For the piss above the exhaust, and no power (if it has a stock engine).
not to mention the paper towel chassis
bought the headlights and 2 pair of h7 bulbs, also next week i will get the bumpers
Still one of the sexiest things I've ever heard
If I could get a Beretta or Corsica for cheap, I would. Berettas are hella sexy and Corsicas make some vicious mean-sounding putt-putt cars C:
So i've just been out seeing the G60 corrado that i had in my mind...
It's pretty much in the same shape as my passat.. a few bits and bolt and so on..
The engine on the corrado has been overhaulen for 25000km ago.. and a completely new G-lader
has been put in... and one thing i can say is...
HOLY BUTTFUCKING SHIT THAT THING IS FAST..
i want it, im fucking going to buy that thing... hopefully
Don't you just love good design decisions?
My car battery is under the passenger seat. Result? Nice shiny terminals, not a single bit of corrosion or rust.
what if the battery exploded with a passenger there
didnt think of that one did you
I'm guessing the cover plus the seat being on top of it would contain the blast?
Not that I expect it to blow up![]()
