my car isnt fun to drive, but i still love driving.
Edited:
of course i have murrica strong 3.1 liter v6
been driving since july of 2011
You know, Conker, you might have a shit car but I'm jelly of that 3100. They're really a garbage engine but I still love how they sound.
I really wouldn't mind having a Beretta or Corsica.
I've been driving upwards of 4 years and still find it one of if not the most enjoyable thing to do to this date.
What do you drive?
Edited:
Yeah, texting whilst driving is a bad habit to pick up. Just remember to be super careful. If you find yourself questioning whether or not you can make lights/junctions etc don't do it! and bare in kind like 9/10 new drivers hit something. The luck comes in hiting things that don't claim on your insurance, in my case, reversing into a lampost and the neighbours fence. Haha
Happy driving!
Prob just getting up cause my parents want me to get milk or some shit that gets annoying. I never really got bored of it cause my car was fun to drive especially when all these honda fags who only have a fart cannon and 20 stickers on and try to race every single car they see.
Driving is the most fun thing in my opinion, even after thousands and thousands of kilometers, I still love it, and for me, it is the greatest stress reliever. Even with my slowpoke N/A 3800.
pass some grandma
SWARM OF ANGRY BEES UNDER THE HOOD
I want driving to be fun but my vehicle does not suit me at all. I don't use the bed very often so I'm not justifying the mileage. Because I have nothing in the bed, it gets hardly any traction. Because it's a 4 Cylinder truck, it's extremely slow to speed up, and it's an automatic and I tried learning manual and 2 hours flew by so fast I didn't even notice.
Now I want a manual car that can actually go. :C Not sure what I want though...
Angry bees?
You're obviously doing it wrong
but that's exhaust note not engine note
ಠ_ಠ
You not taking care of your engine and it sounding like it's falling apart does not mean they all sound like that.
Fix your shit. Do a valve adjustment, if it sounds like a bunch of bees then you've got way too much play. Probably happened when you ran it out of oil.
i dont mean it exactly like that
2 other br/o/s said their 3100's sound like "an angry swarm of bees"
so thats what i say
Is it just me or is driving other people's cars funner than driving your own? It's just more exciting

Always wanted a cop car, I'd love to freak out all the sketchballs around town.
They're piss-ass-fuck easy to work on, too. I should know, that's all I've been doing every single day for the past month. I work as a mechanic for ABQ Cab, and as you may or may not know, Crown Vics and Shuttle Vans are the only things they run. And we have like, 30 of the vics alone.
They sell a bunch of those here at auction and all of the sketchballs buy them ironically. And hey, this one is cheaper and on 24 inchz rimz yo.
They're all retired interceptors, as well. Meaning they are all tuned up with the interceptor packages and everything.
I would love one. But It would have to be ether State Trooper paint scheme or solid black.
Thin Illegal light's for funnies.
uhh right. my V8 5L is enough for me. I would love a v6.
Driving became exponentially more fun when i got a 1.7l 5 speed manual coupe, instead of an automatic 5.9l v8 suv.
Hence why I want to dump this automatic 4cyl truck for some reliable good on gas manual.
I don't use the bed (So no traction either), the gas is terrible and it's slow as fck.
I mean, it's MY truck but I realize I'll fall in love with any car that I like, so eh.
Exactly. I loved the Durango, but only because it was treated as MY vehicle. But now i love my honda.
The fact that I don't have to stand in the freezing cold waiting on a bus to go places is worth it for insurance and fuel costs.
Yeah, they're so cheap to insure. I go to two Sixth Forms and at one point everyone at both just drove Corsa's! Until someone inherited Grandads old Skoda that is :P I'm always surprised when I see one that clearly isn't a first car!
I agree, if i was older with a well paid job and quite a lot of NCB, then a Corsa wouldn't be in my top ten cars i'd buy if i'm honest. Good car though.
Just phoned Halfords and they said it would cost about £10 to get the roof rack removed. Fucking rip off!
sgvkhgblbg I wish I could come help you
Just to snag it from you
I really want that roof rack
Welcome to the real world on the road! My local garage wanted £30 off me to explain a warning light on my dash! Bastards.
I would send it to you but I'm in the UK and you're in the US...delivery costs eeek.
Damnn...my mum knows a guy that works in a garage, surely he will take it off for free when I take my car to get serviced.
I'm going to drive to work with my diagnostic kit connected with the GPS logging function enabled.
I want to see my acceleration habits.
Also the coolant temperature sensor is being a prick again, causing the dash to go "ENGINE OVERHEAT" *beep* *beep* *Beep* (even when the engine is only just warm to touch) or to read 0.
Not good as this controls the electric fan on the radiator - I tested this by disconnecting it and the fan spins up to maximum.
Luckily I'll have it up on a lift on saturday so I'll be able to get to the sensor and the wiring really easy.
gurgh, wrong thread.
Bought my first own car today, Volvo 744 1988.
:)
I wish we got the diesel 740, I'd own one.
Hows your insurance going anyway Tezzanator?
