Might as well post my new house on our server. We all live on separate islands and are developing separately until we advance enough to trade.
This is the outside. As you can see I live on the beach, and have trees growing on top (because though this island is huge, there aren't many trees).
Here's the inside. Obviously I haven't yet furnished it, as I've been focused on finishing the outside and setting up a mine and a ready tree farm.
This is my bedroom. Small, yes. Convenient, yes.
This is the tree room. It's there in case I need wood and can't get outside to my farm because of mobs. Also, it looks nice. In the back is the entrance to my mine.

Decided not to do the wool, at second look I realized it looked terrible. Instead, I'm going to make a birch forest with all the trees glowing trees, and hopefully with no torches. I've removed all the grass and torches for now so I can have a clean area, and I just finished covering up all the green spots. Also doing a gravel road to all the buildings, when I do more I will make more, of course. Maybe put signs up.
Also, could anyone give me a bunch of names for groves?

Alright, did more stuff, all I have to do now is weed out the dark spots with more indirect lighting.

Reminds me of when Notch said he was "stealing" a style of large mushroom I made a while ago (pre-1.8), nothing of the sort ever ended up being implemented

The palace I posted previously is 95% done just some tweaks and stuff to do such as add a couple windows and finish the 3rd and 4th floor rooms.

Spoiler alert: when I said before in the chat thread that it'll be mostly puzzles without story, I lied. Still lots of puzzles though.

Setting up my horseshoe-cannon infront of an unsuspecting village.
Its one of my own designs and can pack quite the punch if you know how to use it.
The results.
As you can see it can shoot over a large distance and is very precise.
Hell it can even shoot backwards!
Anyway, this is what i am working on:
What would it be like surviving on a huge chunk of rusting machinery?
In this texture pack, you wont be mining for ores. Instead you will be scavenging for wires, circuit boards, batteries.
Anything that you could use to your benefit. Stone has turned into metal and wood has turned into plastic wich can only be found in the pillars of solar generators.
The reason im showing you this is because i want your opinion. Is it worth continuing? If so, how may i improve it?

however you would really need to make a map to go along with it since it wont really fit with mc's current world gen
