Well, yeah.. I... sort of accidentally deleted the save.
And Recuva couldn't get it back either.

Anyway, this is what i am working on:

What would it be like surviving on a huge chunk of rusting machinery?
In this texture pack, you wont be mining for ores. Instead you will be scavenging for wires, circuit boards, batteries.

Anything that you could use to your benefit. Stone has turned into metal and wood has turned into plastic wich can only be found in the pillars of solar generators.

The reason im showing you this is because i want your opinion. Is it worth continuing? If so, how may i improve it?
    DO WANT.

And yeah, an adventure map (or otherwise) would be great for this. Hell, I'd even consider making a map for it.

Please proceed. It looks very cool.

Made some major progress with my agricultural district. I added an entire new block that consists of a large building that leads up to a watchtower that overlooks the residential and mining districts, as well as a porch. Added a massive stable courtyard, built part of the district wall, added a massive gateway to the mining district, and I also added a neat garden with fountains that grow plants.

A new shot of the colossus. You can see the city behind it pretty well.

Also, I intended have a toga-wearing villager visible but he moved out of shot. Darn.

I will release the map when I release the video, which should be some time next week.

The map is currently running on my friend's server. PM me for the IP if you like; fair warning though, there's weird lumps of swamp everywhere and someone moved the spawn into the middle of nowhere.

I absolutely love how stairs effect lighting, when it's put in sequence it looks really good.
I used it to light up a path to my underground town thing (I'd call it a city but it's tiny so far) here:

makes me hnng on smooth lighting.

Might as well post what I have thus far:

I wanted to create an adventure map which actually rewarded people for being adventurous so I'm hiding chest all over the place in places which look suspicious and some well hidden. I'm not going to lie to myself; I probably wont ever finish or release it or think up a story line.

Oh and all those signs in the middle are things I still have to do and ideas

It looks like a church, but its a big and ancient library. Quite WIP.

I had to mostly reconstruct the place once to get it symmetrical...
    The (Locked) basement:

That pit is geographically called the Plains Borehole, but more commonly (In my made-up myth) known as the Hellish Abyss. It goes almost to bedrock naturally and I used it as a mine before beginning a small temple to the Nether used by an ancient civilization. I'm also making the remains of small half-buried buildings to give the look of a lost world of the past, but this is heavily WIP.

The library was built over it to seal it off and the bloody history below (Namely my several deaths in magma), and also to protect the outside world from the realm beyond the Nether gateway.

Kind of silly to make backstories behind a pit in the ground, but it keeps me interested.

As you can see from the pictures, it will take me a very long time to get all the bookcases the library requires. I'll probably build a treasury tower extension to the library eventually.
    Sorry for the many images.

This could be actually nicely used as some kind of art of defense, with the new pathfinding it would be cool.

Major Update on my desert town. Discovered a new door architecture which I am applying to all of the shops.

*Added a balcony to the inn
*Added a pier with an immigration center and lookout point.
*Added three new buildings: A blacksmith, enchanter, and wool store
*Completely redid the Bazaar (new name for merchant slums) and slums.
*Completely redid slums. Finished one room with a bathroom and bedroom.
*Added a fountain in the Merchant District.
*Expanded the empty building in the Agricultural District. Now serves as a observation building that leads to the garden. Also has a balcony with two public bathrooms in it.
