Kind of a dick thing to ask, but can you guys vote for these?
Just click the circles. Cheers guys :)

my ipod broke
I wonder if I can get one of those old iPods for cheap
new ones look tiny and easy to lose and fragile and shit
except for the iTouch, that thing is a fucking dream to use.
mine was a 30gb video
i dropped it from a couple feet because it slid out of the case, opened it up and a transistor broke off. going to try and solder it back on, but my soldering iron sucks
I just found a Pentax K-x (White one-Personally, I love the white one. It's like a storm trooper.) for $250, with a lens, on Craigslist. This person says it needs to go, ASAP. No other details are left.
Except my dad promised me that he'd get me a better DSLR when we go down to the states (1-2 months from now.) I can't decide whether or not to wait and get a better camera, or get this cheap one. I've never gotten anything of Craigslist so I'm somewhat paranoid of scammers and such.
Also, I don't even know I'm ready for DSLR yet. I'm scared that I might not be able to make good use out of it.
What do I do.
see if it's close enough to try it out or whatever
that's a deal right there
omigosh it does look like a stormtrooper
Take your dad up on his offer, IMO. You have no idea what the used camera has been through, particularly the mileage on the shutter.
Yep, it does.
And it's somewhat (not really) close. It might take an hour to get there though public transportation. Except I'm really busy with school recently, so I probably can't make it. Maybe on the weekend. Also, the post was made on last Saturday, and says "Needs to go this weekend!" but the weekend just ended. Either the guy is still selling it, or he's lazy and won't take down the post.
If you get a chance to hold it, you can probably check the shutter count and the dirt on the sensor.
-oh man this should have gone in gear discussion-
^It's pushing 9 years old now.
really good selection of your work, definitely the cream of the crop!
i'd say a less collection of self portraits overall. you have a lot of good ones in there, but just tone down the amount overall
also put in that panorama you did of the glider, that photo is brilliant
holy shit, no photoshopping or moving your head around is going to save the guy on the rights jawline
in a sea
First time I came home with my camera and said, "Damn, these are sharp."

i hate street photography normally, but i love all of your shots pick. they are so fresh compared to what i see all the time. in my photojournalism class my teacher shows us people all the time, and they are leagues behind what you are currently doing.
trogdon, what school do you go to? I want to study photojournalism :c
Northern Arizona University
So, entering some random small school competition for "Utopia" and I can't think of any photo to pick, however I was thinking one of these;
Sleepy by Red Pan, on Flickr
Rows of Trees by Red Pan, on Flickr
Sunset over Canada by Red Pan, on Flickr
But I think I'm leaning towards the first one, I think its one of my personal favorites, any suggestions?
Gonna have to say the third one.
None of those say "Utopia" to me.
To me Utopia would be somewhere with bright, vibrant colours and LOTS of them!
These sorts of colours makes me think:
And straight lines
Because like, Mirror's Edge and stuff
that one picture from some subway station with TONS OF ORANGE comes to mind.
My friends have organised an Anthropology conference this weekend:
They asked me to photograph the event in exchange for the ticket. Seemed like a fair deal since I was going to both buy a ticket and photograph the event anyway :P
Plus, there's a possibility of Chris Knight staying at my house during the course of the weekend.
red definitely enter the subway picture with the orange. it's a perfect fit for the contest
I still have a 'Foton' flash attachment with a bag and manual, bought in 1987. For how much I could sell it, would love to know from you guys?
yeah i was wondering about that too
do you guys know if its possibly to add photos to a flickr set but not have them appear on your photo stream?
